The son of a high-ranking official in the public works department of a Malaysian state, Fariq joined Malaysia Airlines when he was 20.

He is a mild-mannered "good boy" who regularly visited his neighbourhood mosque outside Kuala Lumpur, said the mosque's imam, or spiritual leader.

The far more seasoned Zaharie joined MAS in 1981 and had logged 18,365 hours of flying time.

one wonders how well he knew these two?

“Interpol had identified the two men as Iranians: Seyed Mohammed Reza Delavar, who used a stolen Italian passport, and Pouria Nourmohammadi, who used an Austrian one.”

chances of the two iranians being jihadists..... better than fifty percent

thats just an educated hunch

27 years old. He would have been 14 when 9/11 occurred. Perfect recruit for terrorists. Train him to be a pilot and then one day say it’s time. Probably had several hundred trained and he was the one that got through it all.

Like the Boston Marathon bomber, young Muslim men can become radicalized in a short amount of time.

His family has called him a “Good Muslim” who was recently engaged..gee, a “Good Muslim” who would let young women into the cockpit and who they refer to as “A pervert” gee, Ive heard of those kind of Muslims before, the ones who talk about being clean and pure yet go to strip clubs and get hookers every night

The imam is named Ahmad Sharafi Ali Asrah.* I’d like to know more about his mosque, but info is scarce.

A friend has flight simulator software on his computer. He’s been crashing onto carrier decks for 10 years! We’re gonna throw a party when he finally lands one!

But the women who work there are not muslims, so it's not a sin.

I would keep checking on the Iranians, but so far their story checks out. Family and friends waiting in Europe for them to join them, seem to be dissidents leaving for a better life. I would check the pilot mostly, the one with great knowledge of the working of the 777 and the simulator at home. With a colleague among the passengers, they could subdue the copilot and disable the communications without the passengers knowing. The copilot apparently had a habit of letting passengers into the cockpit, so it would not be unusual to have someone allowed in. Otherwise, the crew would be alerted. Once communications were disabled, they could lock the cockpit door, give some BS announcement over the intercom, and start flying. The questions are where and why.

“He is a mild-mannered “good boy”

“Good boy” who on previous flights invited girls into the cockpit. Don’t think too many muslims would consider that a “good boy.”

When a muslim man forces himself on an infidel girl, it’s HER fault. From date-rape to brutal forced rape, it’s HER fault. She was “uncovered meat,” and what is a man expected to do? She should have been covered, or at home. If not, she’s a whore, and the man is blameless.

What about the 13 employees from China for Freescale and the 7 from Malaysia? They were in the business of Battlefield communications, avionics, HF L and S band radar, Missile guidance electronic warfare identification friend or foe. Just maybe it is a joint venture between the Co-Pilot and additional number of the Engineers from Malayasia.

Going to monthlong conferences in China. Some of the technology on the plane and utilized.

Once communications were disabled, they could lock the cockpit door, give some BS announcement over the intercom, and start flying.

It was well after midnight. No need for announcements. The passengers would be asleep. It would have taken an astronomer, or a frequent flier, to notice that the Moon is not in the right position.
