A great evil is sweeping our nation through judicial decree. In states all over the country, bans on homosexual marriage are being overturned by Federal Courts. In most states these bans were voted on by the people, usually by large majorities. The latest state to see its law overturned by judicial decree is Michigan. Within minutes of the Court overturning the Michigan law dozens of sodomites and lesbians got married at liberal county buildings all with the media present and cheering. To believe this wasn’t coordinated with the Court is to suspend rational thought. Homosexuals wouldn’t be marrying but for the decadent and godless culture America finds herself in.

Sadly America and the West are entering a post Christian neo pagan era of decadence and decline. The fact that a gay, agnostic socialist with bizarre Muslim sympathies was twice elected President of the United States underscores these changes.

But both those on the right and the left argued at the time, it wasn't needed. That a federal law (the defense of marriage act) would be more than sufficient.
We missed our opportunity, and are now paying the price. And it has also become obvious in retrospect that many of those who said at the time they were against gay marriage were secretly in favor of it.
There is now zero chance of passing such an amendment.
Our biggest allies on the left on this issue (the black community) are so blinded by the halfrican in the white hut that they are even willing to look the other way on this issue which I know they don't support. The support from the black community on this issue is always what drove the numbers in our favor so dramatically. And the sudden change of mind on the issue of so many can be directly attributed to blacks grudgingly supporting gay marriage now for fear of being seen as opposing the first halfrican president.

As a culture I fear we’ve been in a post-Christian decline for nearly a century. The decline began accelerating in the 50’s which led to the 60’s and from there the decline has picked up steam. At this point our only hope is for God to call us back via a revival of faith and a reformation of the church. Until then, I suspect we’re headed toward a period of Christian persecution.
