Living in the Tarnished State is a gift that just keeps giving. A most amazing, but not terribly surprising event was reported in varying degrees of detail over the last 24 hours, about a California Democrat State Senator – a major gun-control advocate. The Los Angeles Times summarizes the headline:

State Sen. Leland Yee (D-San Francisco) and a San Francisco figure known as "Shrimp Boy" were arrested Wednesday as part of a public corruption probe after a series of raids by federal and gang task force officials, the FBI confirmed. Yee, a Democrat who is also running for California secretary of state, was expected to appear in a federal courthouse in downtown San Francisco at 1:30 p.m.

FBI agents searched Yee’s state Senate office Wednesday morning but declined to comment to The Times on the nature of their investigation. Yee was taken to the courthouse in the backseat of a patrol car. San Francisco Police Chief Greg Suhr described the raids to KCBS as "massive. Hundreds of officers are involved in this," he said.

Subsequent to this report, Mr. Yee was arraigned on charges of conspiring to commit wire fraud and traffic firearms, part of a sweeping public corruption case outlined by federal prosecutors.

Yee is quite the quintessential progressive Democrat. You couldn't find a state legislator in California or anywhere else, with a more hard Left voting record than Senator Yee. As an example, Yee has voted for or sponsored the following pieces of legislation:

In other words, if it was a piece of gesture legislation designed to delight progressives (gun restrictions, GLBT political agenda or establishing a de-facto sanctuary state for illegals), Yee had his fingerprints on it. But here's yet another one that puts the icing on the cake. Yee voted in favor of Senate Bill 755. SB 755 – are you ready for this? - expands the list of crimes that prohibits an individual from owning a firearm for 10 years! So, here is a guy who has been voting for bill after bill that puts a choke hold on legal gun owners in California concurring with a bill that outlines crimes that will prevent the individual convicted of them from owning a gun for 10 years!

It gets even more interesting. This guy, this State Senator that failed in his bid to become Mayor of San Francisco and was in the middle of campaigning for the statewide office of Secretary of State, already has his own criminal record! Yee was in a KTA store in Keaauhou Hawaii, in 1992 when he apparently stuffed a bottle of Tropical Blend Tan Magnifier Oil into his pocket and then under his shirt and tried to walk out of the store with it. After being stopped by a security guard, he claimed he was trying to show the bottle of suntan lotion to his wife who was waiting outside. He was arrested on the spot. When it came time for Yee’s court hearing, records show he skipped his court appearance.

And then, more recently back in San Francisco, State Senator Yee had another brush with law enforcement in 1999, the San Francisco Weekly reports:

“Although cops stopped him twice in the Mission District's hooker-row area near Capp Street in 1999, Yee denied soliciting prostitutes. He told the media: ‘They presume that people are driving around there looking for prostitutes, but there are people who use that street to go home. They said there was somebody they thought looked like me who may have been soliciting. And I said, 'No, I was coming from work.'" Sure, that sounds reasonable. I think that some of my readers might think I lay it on a bit thick whenever I refer to the Democrat party at the state and federal level as one wing of a massive, mafia like crime syndicate. Well, maybe this will be the jolly old convincer. The Mercury News outlines the charges against Yee, for which he was required to post a half million dollar bond to avoid spending the night in the slam:

With scenes resembling the recent movie blockbuster "American Hustle," Yee is depicted in a startling, 137-page FBI affidavit of repeatedly offering to broker illegal firearms sales in exchange for campaign contributions. He allegedly took part in dealmaking meetings with undercover agents, often arranged by San Francisco political consultant Keith Jackson, a close associate among two dozen figures charged in the case.

Yee is linked to a host of wrongdoing to pad his political warchest, charged with seven felonies in a case with two dozen defendants accused of everything from money laundering to murder-for-hire. The defendants include Raymond "Shrimp Boy" Chow, a reputed ringleader of a Chinese syndicate federal investigators have been trying to crack since the late 1980s. But of all this, I'm sure you'll agree that the most incredible facet of the charges is his alleged role in brokering illegal firearms sales. Here's a guy that has authored, sponsored or voted for every restrictive piece of anti-gun owner legislation, facilitating (allegedly) the black market trade in the self same weapons! He's furnishing the criminal element with guns to use against the law abiding owners he's legislatively put the clamps to. He boasted to undercover FBI agents about his gun smuggling connections in Asia and Russia. Among the charges filed by federal prosecutors was a murder for hire scheme. And had he been successful in his Mayoral campaign, he would have been presiding over the affairs of the city Police Department!

If this doesn't drive home the point that the Democrats are soaked in corruption and hypocrisy, I don't know of anything else that would. It's looking like the Bob 'Filthy' Filner fiasco was just the first shoe to drop. State Democratic party leaders are falling all over themselves trying to clear the legislative chambers of the stink of Yee and two other fellow Democrats. Democratic Senator Ron Calderon who faces federal corruption charges, and Democratic Sen. Rod Wright, who is awaiting sentencing in a voter fraud case are suspended until the criminal cases against them have been resolved. Even so, they will continue receiving their $95,291 annual salaries.

What makes me think that if Joe Sixpack got arrested for something that looks like child's play in comparison, his employer would kick his can to the curb and pay him up to the end of the week and that would be it?

But I guess we're talking Apples and Oranges here.

I placed it among the categories on Blasted Fools as ‘Democrats Gone Wild’, ‘Corrupt Lawmakers’ and ‘Treason and Violation of Oath’, among others.

They all sound appropriate to me. I guess we can’t count on the same rationality and accountability from the DoJ.

the government is in the grip of a couple of organized crime families - the Democrats and Republicans. The Democrats have the D.C. mob territory for now - and a franchise out in Cali.

This is so damn typical of corrupt politicians. Ban formerly legal substances, Guns, Alcohol, etc. And then supply the market with your own now-illegal products at a huge mark-up.

Yee is quite the quintessential progressive Democrat. You couldn't find a state legislator in California or anywhere else, with a more hard Left voting record than Senator Yee. Yee has a problem w/ his identity b/c the gun-runner was also an avowed gun-grabber.

================================================

YEE HAS THE PUTRID SMELL OF HYPHENATE-SOLIDARITY---voted for or sponsored the following pieces of legislation:

•Driver's licenses for illegal aliens.

•Voted to prohibit law enforcement from detaining individuals solely on immigration status.

•Voted to prohibit the impounding of the vehicles of illegal alien drivers at DUI checkpoints.

===================================================

Yee also got on his knees, puckered up and sucked-up to gays: He voted for a bill that authorizes a student to participate in any sex-segregated school programs and activities and to use facilities that correspond to the student's gender identity, whereas existing law does not authorize a student to use facilities that correspond to the student's gender identity.

FBI agents searched Yee’s state Senate office but declined to comment on the nature of their investigation. Yee was arraigned on charges of(1) conspiring to commit wire fraud and (2) arms trafficking.....and other charges, part of a sweeping public corruption case outlined by federal prosecutors.

Every official document filed by Yee needs to be scrutinized. Perjury, forgery, govt fraud, and voter fraud need to be considered. Judging from the depths he will stoop to get elected, he may have encouraged people to lie on voter registration forms, and may have falsified his own candidacy papers.

Falsifying Government Documents involves altering, changing, or modifying a document for the purpose of deception.......can also involve forgery and/or passing copies of false documents. Falsifying documents is usually done in connection with broader criminal aims, such as extortion, government fraud, tax evasion, money laundering, financing terrorism........

Types of documents commonly falsified may include:
◾Tax returns and income statements
◾Personal checks
◾Bank account records
◾Business record keeping books
◾Immigration documents (such as visas, passports, etc.)
◾Identification cards and birth certificates

Many different types of acts can be considered as falsifying a document, including:
◾Altering or misrepresenting factual information such as prices or monetary amounts
◾Stating false information when requested to provide truthful statements
◾Forging a signature
◾Using official letterheads without authorization
◾Concealing assets or property WRT obtaining federal/state grants))
◾Knowingly using or distributing a fake document

A person can only be held criminally liable if they are deliberately acting with the intention of deceiving or defrauding another party. /

Falsifying documents is a very serious offense and is generally classified as a felony. This means that a person charged with falsifying documents may be subject to the following legal penalties:
◾Having to pay a monetary fine
◾Incarceration in a prison facility

Depending on the gravity of the offense, as well as individual state laws, falsifying documents can result in a prison sentence of 5-10 years. Also, if government documents or authorities were involved, the legal penalties may be more severe. ..... legal penalties may increase with repeat offenses.

The penalty for falsifying government documents is outlined in the Crimes Act of 1958.

Time to mobilize the Bank Secrecy Act----to follow the paper trail of govt grant disbursements facilitated by Yee, and determine how govt monies changed hands.

Taxpayers demand to know the scope and dimension of Lee and government insiders ability to collude in sub rosa deals and who might be personally profiting.

<><> L/E needs to examine Yee's multiple bank accounts.

<><> Joint bank accounts might be used to facilitate the transfer govt funds from one account to another, and/or wo=ire-transferred offshore;

<><> To cover their tracks, fake govt invoices might be created to show that govt money deposited into accounts was being used for legitimate govt purposes.

<><> Financial schemes scheme might be advanced by issuing phony statements of payments from financial sources that actually covered the transfer of govt funds for insiders' personal use and/or for redistribution schemes.

===============================================

NOTE WELL Under the Bank Secrecy Act, banks are required to establish, implement and maintain programs designed to detect and report suspicious activity indicative of money laundering and other financial crimes. “The Bank Secrecy Act was enacted to protect the public from harm by identifying and detecting money laundering from criminal enterprises, terrorism, tax evasion or other unlawful activities,” the special agent in charge for Internal Revenue Service Criminal Investigation, explained.

Shady banking transactions could be prosecuted under the (1) Bank Secrecy ACT, (2) RICO, and, (3) the Hobbs Act.

=============================================

<><> L/E should get ahold of: (1) copies of Yee's checks, (2) wire transfers, (3) account statements, (4) invoices, (5) bills, (6) delivery tickets, (7) correspondence including snail mail, e-mail, mobile devices, cell phones, (8) contracts, (9) loan agreements, (10) other account books or official records.

L/E should also explore (a) monies Yee paid to brokers, sub- brokers, (b) family members, (c) mortgage brokers, (d) financial managers, and, (e) real estate agents, brokers, and developers.

<><> L/E should scrutinize Yee bank accounts for suspicious activites: (A) large deposits, (B) funds transferred from one account into another, (C) frequent requests for withdrawals.

<><> Bank records might also show diversions to secret LLC accounts, to money launder and to operate personal ventures---or to finance campaign activities (and/or other redistribution schemes to hand-picked voting blocs).

Tax fraud may also be a factor; facilitated by withdrawals, gift cards purchases, credit card purchases and intra-bank transfers from Yee's accounts into personal accounts, campaign accounts, or into redistribution schemes.

<><> A huge tipoff is whether bank withdrawals support and luxurious lifestyle including payments for real estate, investment and stock holdings, jewelry, luxury vehicles, resort travel....... and gifts from luxury outlets for wives and mistresses (and campaign activities, or other redistribution schemes).

=================================================

Taxpayers demand the Bank Secrecy Act be used to prosecute govt fraud, pronto.

SAMPLE LETTER TO LAW ENFORCEMENT
Taxpayers are urged to notify the FBI now.
FBI TIPS PAGE https://tips.fbi.gov

SUBJECT: Collusion, conspiracy, and bribery
IN RE: financial irregularities
REFERENCE: govt fraud, falsified documents, wire transfers, accounting fraud, etc.

NARRATIVE Taxpayers demand to know the scope and dimension of multiple conspiracies by Yee and other government insiders to collude in sub rosa deals to personally profit and/or to facilitate redistribution schemes.

OF INTEREST TO LAW ENFORCEMENT The FBI should interrogate individuals for evidence of multiple schemes to falsify documents to further insider schemes. The FBI should investigate any and all official documents submitted by Yee.

Crimes might include---conspiracy, collusion, falsifying offical documents (a felony), money laundering, tax evasion, extorting taxpayers, theft of govt monies, misuse of public office and government positions.

Examine Yee personnel's tax returns with a fine-tooth comb.....especially entries for "interest income."
