Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev) vociferously denied ever accusing victims of Obamacare of lying about their troubles. He dismissed video evidence of him making such accusations as bogus.
In an earlier era seeing is believing might have been a powerful verification of reality, Reid said. However, in this age of increasingly sophisticated computers, software, and savvy users one can no longer count on believing ones own eyes and ears. It is inconceivable to me that I would have made such a foolish and politically inept assertion in public.
Reids portrayal of sophisticated computer users victimizing him clashed with his nearly simultaneous contention that computer illiteracy is the cause of the myriad of problems with getting people signed up for Obamacare health insurance.
The government has spent hundreds of millions creating and implementing the computerized sign-up system, the senator pointed out. If people arent successful in using this system it can only be due to their own ignorance of how to use computers. Perhaps we were too optimistic in allowing individuals to make their own choices on a complex issue like health care.
In hindsight, maybe we shouldve gone directly to a universal government run health care system like the one we have for active military personnel, Reid speculated. Soldiers dont have the burden of selecting their own insurers or doctors. These decisions are made for them. All they need to do is follow orders.
In related news, Dan Pfeiffer, senior adviser to President Obama, said he found Reids photo-shopping theory insightful. Up until now weve been assuming that the 30 some videos of the President assuring people that they could keep insurance and doctors that they liked pretty much proved he said those things. Wed overlooked the possibility that these videos may have been concocted by the Presidents enemies to make him look bad.

I actually believe Reid will go there.
The Senator is a liar.
Reid is mental... there should be laws prohibiting the holding of public office by persons suffering from dementia such as this.
I think you hooked one (or two).
Luckily, with Republicans taking over the Senate, that gives us dummies some really nice options.
I know. Let's give Harry a brand new office ....in the Capitol's sub-basement, next to the furnace. Harry'll just love his brand-new cardboard desk (some assembly required). Although I hear phone service isn't hooked up down there yet. Too bad. Harry can always use smoke signals (from the handy furnace) to communicate.
And give 'ol Harry a comfortable desk chair---and tell him not
to worry about all those silly electrical switches laying around.
it is truly frightening that these psycopaths are running our gov,
this is just what we know. imagine what we dont know.
I have no doubt dingy Harry honestly believes this. He is a total scumbag. Even without satire, we know this to be true.
That would be an incredible amount of work to edit even a small video, much less the over dozen that are out there.
Poor Harry.
His granddaughter no doubt was selling memrntos in the libby.
This is the first time I have heard of VIDEO being photo shopped. Wouldn’t that be a bit difficult?
Satire is becoming the truth with the demons now. How stupid does dingy hairy think we are? Of course, the typical LIV will believe dingy, not their eyes and ears. Darn, I hate dim politicians. I thinks it would be very difficult to “shop” a video with audio.
