If the recklessness of liberalism could be boiled down to one sentence, this would be it...

This was posted on an atheists blog on Tumblr with the tags "skepticism" and "open mindedness." (I guess it's "open-minded" to be "skeptical" about God, two five-letter words that start with "i" come to mind for me, the first is "irony," the second is much less polite)

I don't know if this is the official rally cry of any liberal who fancies themselves as "progressive," but I'm sure none of them would disagree with this...

Is this REALLY the most dangerous phrase? Yes, it's dangerous to use when a doctor who thinks it's still the 18th century suggests bleeding someone out when they have a cold...

But is it THE MOST dangerous thing anyone can say? For example, would it be "dangerous" to use that argument as we insist on removing God from the public consciousness? Or is the decline in moral decency and increasing depravity and frequency of crime that has followed the real danger?

When it comes to the consequence of their ideology their vision never extends beyond their own nose.

The best part is that even though sayings like this really butters a leftist's bread, take any sacred cow (aka social welfare) of the Democratic Party that is sinking our government and society, propose it be abolished and see how quickly they'll blurt this out.

Bobby Kennedy famously said “There are those who look at things the way they are, and ask why... I dream of things that never were, and ask why not?”

The thing is, there are usually very good reasons why things are the way they are, and why things that never were aren’t.

No, the most dangerous sentence is “You need to sacrifice for the common good.”
