Mary Landrieu really is a prime example of why people loathe politicians. Part of the problem is that she is full of manure.
Landrieu is one of the democrats on the 2014 endangered species list and most deservedly so. Back in December of 2009 Landrieu had this to say:

"Those individuals who like the coverage they already have will be able to keep their current plan"
and added this punctuation:
"This is a very accurate description of this bill"
Um, no it wasn't.
About four years later Landrieu was still pretty high and mighty about her support for the bill:
"....We did not wake up one morning and declare this the law. The people of the United States declared this through us as their Representatives. If they do not like it, they can unelect us. Believe me, they will have a great chance because I am up for reelection right now. They will be able to do that. But that is the way you do it."
Then a couple of weeks later when it had hit the fan and was beginning to bury her, Landrieu attempted to rewrite history. She told the Weekly Standard this:

She, of course, voted to exempt herself from it...
Little baby pigs can be kinda' cute but she's been spending too much time at the taxpayer-provided feeding trough.
