Wisconsin Sheriff David Clarke will surely have a target on his back now after his superb comments at the annual NRA convention in Indianapolis. As reported by The Blaze, Clarke revealed the seven words he would add to the Second Amendment: Keep your hands off our guns, dammit. What Sheriff Clarke again demonstrates is for conservatives its nothing to do with race its all about individual character.
His comments about amending the Constitution were aimed at former Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens, who said in his recent book that he would change the Second Amendment by adding five words in the middle: A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms when serving in the militia shall not be infringed.

This is a post and run. Later.
Now that’s a Sheriff. My Sheriff supports gun control except for his cronies who helped him in his campaign. Sheriff Joe and Sheriff Clark got my respect.
And what’s more, this man is the sheriff of Uber-Liberal Milwaukee county, not a large county but home of the City of Milwaukee, largest of Wisconsin’s cities, and a city that for a great many of my years of Wisconsin residence elected Socialist mayors; the only Wis. city to do so.
Perhaps Milwaukee, county and city, have changed over the years. The present Governor, Scott Walker, conservative Republican, was repeatedly elected County Executive, a powerful office in counties that have chosen that form of governance, Dane being the other.
Milwaukee Sheriff David Clarke brings NRA conventioneers to their feet with a standing O!
FReep Mail me if you want on, or off, this Wisconsin interest ping list.
Wow he is from Milwaukee? Really?
Milwaukee County.
Isn’t that and the county that Mad Insane (Madison) is in the most Liberal of Wisconsin’s counties?
Racine gives them a run for the money...
If I were going to rewrite the Second Amendment, I wouldn’t add to it, I’d take out the first phrase so even liberals could understand what it means.
Oh...are those 3 the blue areas? How about Green Bay? How is that county?
