Stupid Administration Talking Head of the Day

john-kerryReporting for Duty, unfit as ever.

Not since Jimmy Carter wrote the widely unread book, Palestine: Peace Not Apartheid, has a higher ranking know-it-all suggested that Israel might become an apartheid state. For the record, “apartheid” is a term appropriated from the racist regime of South Africa and applied to Israel because it always elicits the desired outrage. As far as emotional college slogan campaigns go, it’s right up there with “Free Palestine.”

The Apartheid accusation is false at every level, and was a deliberate propaganda strategy devised at the anti-Semitic Durban NGO conference in 2001.

In other words it works well for the anti-Jewish mafia and propaganda machine:

israeli-apartheid-010“Based on the spurious, yet maliciously effective, accusation that Israel is in some way akin to apartheid South Africa, anti-Zionist groups have found the perfect way to monopolize the discourse and shut out any debate on the Arab-Israeli conflict.”

So it was a bit dispiriting to find out our very own Secretary of State was perpetuating this bombastic sloganeering:

"A two-state solution will be clearly underscored as the only real alternative. Because a unitary state winds up either being an apartheid state with second-class citizens – or it ends up being a state that destroys the capacity of Israel to be a Jewish state.”

"Once you put that frame in your mind, that reality, which is the bottom line, you understand how imperative it is to get to the two-state solution…"

And when that’s not even the most offensive thing you said, you definitely need to be scripted. Or am I the only one who thinks “take it or leave it” doesn’t sound very diplomatic? Jean Carré, like other members of the Administration who shall remain nameless, should never be allowed to go off ‘prompter. Because accusing your Mideast ally of being/becoming an apartheid state (or cease to exist) if they don’t go along with your peace solution makes you sound a little…arrogant and dismissive, even derisive.

Jean Carré’s careless words caused a number of people, who never believed he was qualified for the job in the first place,

to call for his resignation. Ted Cruz, for example:

Then William Kristol piled on:

"On Friday, secretary of state John Kerry raised the specter of Israel as an 'apartheid state'. Even Barack Obama condemned the use of this term when running for president in 2008. It is no longer enough for the White House to clean up after the messes John Kerry has made. It is time for John Kerry to step down as secretary of state, or for President Obama to fire him."

I think even Big Guy might have called for Jean’s resignation:

“There’s no doubt that Israel and the Palestinians have tough issues to work out to get to the goal of two states living side by side in peace and security, but injecting a term like apartheid into the discussion doesn’t advance that goal,” Obama said. “It’s emotionally loaded, historically inaccurate, and it’s not what I believe.”

No wait, that was back in 2008, before he had even met Bebe Netanyahu, so maybe he’s changed his mind.

I guess it doesn’t matter to Jean Carré that Palestine is forming a unity government with Hamas – the  party whose charter calls for the destruction of Israel. Apparently he doesn’t think it should matter to Israel either. Oy vey!

Butt don’t worry, because I see that John Kerry has manned up and begun to walk his offensive comments back by claiming that he never said what he said.:

I will not allow my commitment to Israel to be questioned by anyone, [not even myself] particularly for partisan, political purposes, so I want to be crystal clear about what I believe and what I don’t believe.

john kerry

First, Israel is a vibrant democracy and I do not believe, nor have I ever stated, publicly or privately, that Israel is an apartheid state or that it intends to become one. [that wasn’t me who said that, it was my evil, anti-Semite twin]

kerry evil clone

Anyone who knows anything about me knows that without a shred of doubt.”

So are we all good now?

OBAMA BRUINSI beat myself up so you don’t have to.

Meanwhile, it might good to write this message on the white board 100 times, just to remind yourself Jean: the only completely free Arabs in the Mideast reside in Israel.

Kerry was for apartheid before he was against it.

Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) wanted to remind everyone after Sarah Palin said waterboarding is how we baptize terrorists: she could have been vice president of the United States.

And I would like to "remind everyone" that Hanoi Boi Johnny Kerry could have been PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES!
