Obama: Republicans teaching candidates how to speak with 'sweeties' [women] - Correspondents Dinner

During the 2008 Presidential campaign, President Obama took some heavy flak for addressing a female factory worker and a woman reporter as "sweeties". Cognizant that female voters might find the crass moniker disrespectful, the Politician-in-Chief quickly called the female reporter and issued an apology on her voice mail saying he was sorry for using the word "sweetie". The President added: "That's a bad habit of mine, I do it sometimes with all kinds of people" - including - as the satirical video below indicates - Michelle Obama.

However, despite the President's tactless style of speaking with women, and the need for him to take some etiquette lessons to learn how to speak with women appropriately, Mr. Obama, at the annual White House Correspondents' Association Dinner on Saturday, claimed that Republicans "brought in a group consultant to teach their candidates how to speak to women." The President added derisively: "I don't know if it'll work for women, but I understand America's teenage boys are signing up to run for the Senate in droves [Laughter]."

But sadly, one thing is certain: The President is clearly not up to the task of knowing how to speak with women appropriately; his etiquette is sorely lacking. Perhaps he could benefit from a series of extensive lessons that would teach him how to speak with women in a respectful and appropriate manner. The lessons might help him, or, they might not help him - but it's certainly worth a try.......

As far as America's teenage boys are concerned, suffice it to say that, as long as the boys do not take their cue from the President - as long as they leave out the "Sweetie" references and omit the disrespectful dialogue - they should be just fine....... Video Satire
