Elizabeth Scalia writes about the abortion video of the woman I mentioned earlier:

“I knew thee before I formed thee in the womb”
That is a very true statement, but did “thee” know the “I” that formed them in the womb? Always thy Father knows the child but often the child does not know thy Father.
Filming an abortion is like gay pride parades. When someone is deeply ashamed of what he is doing, he masks his shame by going all out with the shows of “pride.”
Doesn’t work, and he falls even deeper into self-loathing.

She will regret her abortion later when she starts thinking about the “what ifs”. Yes I agree you should tell her. Let her mull it over, in time she will come around.
This is an unsettling thought. Read no further if you are sensitive. The next step down for this unfortunate woman is to film a late-term abortion the same way.

I would love to have my baby here today. It doesn’t matter how many times I talk to the Father about it, and His word assures me that He’s forgiven me, there is still something missing in my life and there always will be. I have only one child. She could have had a sibling. Instead she grew up lonely. I always had a feeling it was a boy. My son, her brother, I hope to see in heaven some day. Wishful thinking.
There are two kinds of guilt; loud guilt and quiet guilt.
Loud guilt screams for quick resolution because it’s so obvious. Quiet guilt lies still but in the peripheral vision, like an untied shoe.
Women’s hearts are well equipped to know quiet guilt, a subtle corrosion, when they know in the back of their mind that something is not right.
She’s not grieving, she’s doing fine. She has thousands of abortion fanatics telling her they love her and that she’s a good person and hero. She probably got lots of dates lined up as well. I would venture to say that this is the most exciting time of her life! In a year or so when things return to normal, she may start to slide into regret.
Maybe there is good in your being unable to contact her...better she never know...because she might convert some day and be ignorant of the fact that such talk was ever had. No child deserves that, even to convert them with it...you know?
The Holy Spirit will change her, with daily prayer and sacrifice for her...like St. Monica.
Western religion doesn’t explore that aspect as much as Eastern religions. It’s also an issue of capital punishment or any event that is an extreme transition of life to death.
Where’s the picture from?
It’s hogwash, God takes those souls. There’s no energy or whatever needed for some trip.
We’ll find them all there when we go.
We will read about her in the coming year when she gets around to doing what she really wanted to do, which is abort herself.
I agree with the other poster who suggested writing a letter. It may save the life of your grandchild someday.
