Karl Rove stunned a conference when he suggested Hillary Clinton might have brain damage.
Onstage with Robert Gibbs and CBS correspondent and “Spies Against Armageddon” co-author Dan Raviv, Rove said Republicans should keep the Benghazi issue alive.
He said if Clinton runs for president, voters must be told what happened when she suffered a fall in December 2012.
The official diagnosis was a blood clot. Rove told the conference near LA Thursday, “Thirty days in the hospital? And when she reappears, she’s wearing glasses that are only for people who have traumatic brain injury? We need to know what’s up with that.”

This comment was incredibly ill-advised, true or not. Rove is supposed to be a smart guy, yes? Even smarter than Carville?
I had a heart attack and got brain damage from a lack of oxygen. Maybe that’s why I voted for Romney.
Technically, ever single person over 21 or so (in addition to a few under 21) reading this has “brain damage”. The issue is, how much, how much you had going for you when you were 21, and where it is.
Her theatrics in the hospital were to postpone her Benghazi testimony and to garner sympathy.

Don’t agree at all. She’s never been forthcoming about her injury or whatever, and even a critic of Hillary would admit her “what difference does it make” screed was out of the ordinary. I think Rove is right.

I don’t trust the Progressives in either party. Rove is probably floating a trial balloon to help her with criticisms on Benghazi. She has an injury, dontchaknow.
