LORD JESUS, You so often healed all those who were brought before YOU. Today, we bring before You all those we hold dear who are in need of Your saving word and Your healing touch. Please deal with them gently and restore them, if You will, to full health of mind and body. Amen.
More good news about Jesse!
Although his white blood cell count is trending downward - now about 1400, down from 2900 last weekend - docs say that there’s still an infection source somewhere and it must be located in order to continue effective treatment.
Yesterday he had heart and lung tests looking for the infection source and the doctors said that, although we must wait for final test results, they think his heart looks okay!
Jesse had a strong negative reaction to the chemical they sprayed into throat to put the tube in his throat for this test and so he had to stay overnight in intermediate care, but he’s okay and should be back in a regular room today.
Also, his wounds are continuing to heal very well!
I have no doubt that prayer is the reason Jesse’s doing so well, considering the seriousness of this disease and the fact that it wasn’t caught early.
Words can’t express our gratitude for your prayers.

UPDATE:
Just received a call letting us know that Jesse is having surgery first thing tomorrow morning.
We aren’t sure about the target area, but we suspect that it could be lungs or the shoulder which is still hurting.
Will post tomorrow as soon as we know more.
Again, thank you all very, very, very, very much for praying!
