The United States Department of Agriculture has sent out a request for arms manufacturers to offer bids on supplying the agency with an unspecified number of machine guns.
Secretary Thomas Vilsack beat back incredulous inquiries skeptical of the Departments need for this high-powered weaponry. It goes without saying that this countrys rural population has its own armory of personally owned firearms, Vilsack said. Paired with their unwelcome notions of independence and self-reliance we have the makings of effective disdain for and disobedience toward the regulations, taxes, and property seizures the we may be attempting to enforce. To be blunt, the Department cant afford to let itself be out-gunned.
To help bolster his case, the Secretary recounted how early in this nations history farmers took up arms against the Government to resist its imposition of the whiskey tax. The situation was so dire that President Washington himself had to lead troops to quell the uprising. We aim to circumvent President Obama being forced into a similar personal show of strength. If our rural population can be shown that USDA personnel have superior firepower this risky contingency can be averted before it takes place.

It’s getting closer to the truth than satire, frighteningly.
John’s just predicting the future once again...
And WHY cannot these thugs call on support from a properly constituted armed force only after a judge has given an OK? Why does every little government group want to turn themselves into a SWAT team? This is a sign of the times - the population - the Proles (us) - MUST OBEY.
The Fed’s future would be short lived on a lot of farms here in the North GA. mountains. Don’t mess with a bear if you don’t want your balls ripped off.
Anyone who can't see that, when the Federal government declares war on Americans, the men and women there need guns, well such people just don't comprehend the dangers inherent in syllogisms.
Yep - I’ve been taught to look before I leap ;’)
May 7, 2014 USDA Request for Information - .40 Cal Submachine Guns
And... no self respecting Jack-booted USDA enforement thug would dare flip from 2 shot burst to semiautomatic as he lines up the Tritium sights on you without his/her Gender-specific Ballistic Body Armor
Again... THIS IS NOT SATIRE.
Solicitation Number: AG-6395-S-14-0085 - FLIR T-70 Thermal Scopes (must include laser pointer upgrade option... you know, for "animal and plant inspection")
This is not just a "request for information" this is an actual invitation to bid... that was opened 2 weeks ago...
NOT SATIRE.
Hmmm. Sounds like they are going to use them for SWAT style operations:
“The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Office of Inspector General, located in Washington, DC, pursuant to the authority of FAR Part 13, has a requirement for the commerical acquisition of submachine guns, .40 Cal. S&W, ambidextrous safety, semi-automatic or 2 shot burts trigger group, Tritium night sights for front and rear, rails for attachment of flashlight (front under fore grip) and scope (top rear), stock-collapsilbe or folding, magazine - 30 rd. capacity, sling, light weight, and oversized trigger guard for gloved operation”...
I hope they buy good quality gear - we’re going to need it.
But just by saying those evil words YOU HAVE OFFENDED ME and you must go for re-education.
I know it isn't satire! My response doesn't change much when we get serious.
Let’s see I got to go to my local John Deere dealer and see if machine guns is an option for my John Deere tractor. Matter of fact, I want a rocket launcher and a anti aircraft gun, too, for my John Deere.
I predict this will be a headline in say 3 to 4 weeks.
Might as well get the Tomahawk Cruise Missile attachment while you're about it.
WILD VEGETABLES .... can be problematic!!
