On Thursday’s broadcast of Fox News Channel’s “Hannity,” Phil Robertson, the so-called patriarch of the hit reality show “Duck Dynasty” appeared with Sean Hannity at the Republican Leadership Conference in New Orleans, LA and gave a wide-ranging interview about faith and how it had changed his life over a course of 40 years.
Robertson, one of the featured speakers at the RLC, also explained how he arrived at his affiliation with the Republican Party, which was a case of not identifying with the Democratic Party platform more than being a Republican.

ROBERTSON: Yeah, and I took the Democratic platform and read it. I said one thing is for sure. I ain’t no Democrat. I go, who’s is next? And I read the Republican platform. I said, well they don't rip human babies from the mother's womb. I said, they are not endorsing perversions, so I said you know what, I think I’m a Republican.

It is sad that Savage knows nothing about Phil, and makes an ass of himself by calling Phil something like a redneck hayseed. He can not believe that Phil will be at the convention. Savage obviously does not know that Duck Dynasty is in the top 3 programs on cable.
Savage is under no obligation to pay homage to some guy on a fake “reality” show.
After all a total fake like Savage shouldn’t be taken seriously anyway anyway.
Sine when did the antithesis of hyperbole become paying homage? The Robertson’s in no way consider that show to be nothing more than them having fun and getting paid far below other shows because they don’t rely on that show for their main source of income. Instead, it is the fools who take the bait of calling it reality who are wanting. You might just be surprised to know that Robertson’s opinions are his own and because he is a public figure because of the show, he is not afraid to espouse them, in public.
You would be wise to remember that it only takes one Oh S**t to erase a boatload of “atta-boys”. Savage has repeatedly managed to fill that boat with the OS’s instead of looking for ways to fill it with the other. Ergo, the main source for his continuing self inflicted setbacks in his rise to his own perceived stardom.
To me, he is just another “converted” liberal who espoused “conservative” tones to win favor in the only format that works on talk radio. Just ask Randy Rhodes and the rest of the spectacular losers who couldn’t even make it when subsidized by liberal groups instead of capitalist advertising.
Michael Savage is the one who’s a fake, phoney, fraud. Why he’s on the airways is a mystery to me.
Excellent speech. I guess Phil doesn’t want an NBA franchise. LOL.
Indeed, their heads DO explode when exposed to too much truth.
