From October 1, 2013 to June 11, 2014, 378 unaccompanied children ages two-years old and younger have reportedly been detained by US Border patrol Agents for crossing the southern border illegally. According to Fusion, they obtained their information from the office of a high-ranking Democratic senator. They stated, moreover, that 95 of the children apprehended were infants under 1 year old. Neither the U.S. Customs and Border Patrol or the Department of Homeland Security would respond specifically to the situation but instead referred Fusion to a previous released statement regarding the data on unaccompanied alien children. Significantly, the statistics show a 99% increase from 26,206 in 2013 to 52,193 in Southwest Border unaccompanied children apprehensions for fiscal year 2014. Furthermore, the Department of Health and Human Services, who are charged with taking care of the illegal immigrant children, chose to remain silent regarding the toddler apprehensions. Emily Butera, a senior program officer at the Women's Refugee Commission, claims that she had witnessed “babies and toddlers” in previous years being escorted by siblings or paid smugglers across the border, but now the situation has deteriorated.

Given that the USGovernment issued plans for handling 65,000 illegal alien unaccompanied minors back in January, the next big questions are, how are these kids recruited, how are they prepped, and who takes them across 1500 miles of Mexico to arrive at our borders.
These things don’t happen all by themselves, it takes planning and logistics and money (from who?).
This is all part of someone’s large plan for something. The government’s apparent surprise turns to bad acting once we found out that we (USG) laid plans at least as early as January.

over 300 kids under 2 were not with their parents. I wouldn’t be surprised if there was a black market for kids from Central and South America so that people already here can collect more money and send it back to wherever they came from. What are they gonna do, genetic testing? It could be another form of human trafficking.
The dems care about live kids about as much as they care about the unborn. In fact, if the South American kids are from Catholic pro-life countries, who is to say that these kids aren’t abandoned in their own country and the churches are sending them here for a better life?
What should Christians do? America has allowed at least 50 million kids to be murdered legally. God will bless America when abortion is illegal and we value all life.
Adopt them out. Their parents have clearly abandoned them, and there are lots of families in the US that would love to adopt a baby or toddler.
(Adopting a child older than a toddler carries some complications. There is trouble finding families for older kids and teenagers already.)

I agree. I had a friend at work who is Mexican but here legally. She once told me she was flying home to see her extended family and it sounded like she would be back at her folks’ the same day.
Oh, no, they would not drive home that night. Too dangerous.
Other friends have talked about how bad it is with teh Narcos in charge. Some of my kids’ friends with family in Mexico are not allowed to hike or ride around the grandparents’ ranch — the kids have to stay in the yard now because of crime.
And some parents send young children, babies and toddlers into that? Into a lion’s den of murder, theft, corruption, abuse?

3. Felony: We must finally declare that crossing the border illegally is a felony.
Illegal parents come to the United States for the wonderful benefits that their children can receive, like a quality education and great health care. Can you blame them for making the dangerous, long trip with their young children, or sending their children by themselves with the hope that the United States will automatically let them stay?
I don't understand how a child can illegally cross the southern border one day and automatically be eligible to enroll in public school the next day. That is wrong.
