[history]
As one of the best actors of his generation, Gary Oldman has shown us many faces and personalities in the roles he has played. Few, however, have gotten a glimpse of the true Gary Oldman that was shown to us in a recent Playboy Magazine interview in which he eviscerated the political correctness of Hollywood liberalism as well as his feelings of Nancy Pelosi.

I was watching a bluray of the old film "Leon: The Professional" last night and was amazed at the magnificent performance of Gary Oldman.
It was a particularly unsympathetic part that Oldman played in this film. The real test of a great actor is how they handle such a role... it's easy playing the hero. Oldman was entirely believable playing a sociopathic DEA agent.

Sid and Nancy was GREAT!! Will never forget the final scene of him dancing with the little kids to K C and the sunshine band.
Priceless.

Oh yes loved that scene. He was a better Sid Vicious than Sid Vicious.

Oldman in the Batman movies as Gordon really showed how intrepid he was. I can’t believe the quiet dignity, maturity, and righteousness he displayed in that role, after some villainous roles in the 90s. Just an outstanding actor.

Ditto that, and as the bad guy leader in Air Force One (hey, shoot me...I love action flicks).

I heard that too, but for some reason I had trouble getting past the glossies. And then it happened, the thing that liberals are still waiting for, I grew up!

Oldman can pull off some really diverse roles. He's really fun to watch when he goes off the reservation. Two performances that come to mind is the cop in "The Professional," and Zorg in "The Fifth Element."

I had forgotten about Dracula. Reeves nearly ruined the movie. But Oldman was awesome.
