President Obama heads out to Minnesoota to meet with ordinary americans and to improve his poll numbers as they sink lower than a Calypso dancers' bar. So, while he is out pumping for his poll numbers, we here at Free Republic want to demostrate real sympathy for the President as he visits our fine citizens im Minn-is-so-cold. Matter of fact, it can get darn boring for that globe trotting international man we have in the White House and we want to show our solidarity. After he meets with a poor person or two from Minnesota, it is time for golf! That's the ticket. Here are some of the nicer places in Minnesota to shoot a round and keep those pesky reporters from asking tough questions.
Here are some of the top courses as promoted on the web:
S Hwy 34
Walker, MN
218-547-1712
19790 Co. Hwy 20
Detroit Lakes, MN
218-439-3357
2935 Parkview Dr
Medina, MN
763-694-7670
28294 State Hwy # 78
Battle Lake, MN
And the full list of courses can be found here
Just trying to help! I am very sure our readers can add some suggestions of their own. Being the president is such a bore, especially when one has to mingle with ordinary Americans.
has Vice President Clinton informed him that Iraq is on fire?
The DUmbassinCHief is gonna speechify at Minnehaha park...the Mississippi will be cresting above flood stage then too........the concession for hip waders alone for BOTH events, will rake in millions!
Medtronics, the largest producer in the world of medical devices announced two days ago they were moving their corporate head quarters from Minnesota to Ireland. The reason; tax rate in Ireland 12% to 35% in the states. will POTUS address this problem with a large group from Medtronics?
Ooooo! Wildflower is a beautiful course and Detroit Lakes (DL) is a fun place to visit. I hope he stays away from there.
Carefully chosen...nay.. recruited “ordinary” folk no doubt
Good thing he didn’t come here or he might have seen what I saw yesterday. On a corner was a handmade sign most probably made by one of the ordinary folk that read, “Deport Obama”.
I suggest he play the Mississippi Gorge.
All taken care of guys. I sent ot to Kate Haven in Lino Lakes.
Opps, seems that Kate Haven is being turned into town homes.
Uh, maybe he can get on at Chemonix.
I wonder if there’s any golf courses in Hades?
Ahhh, Ireland is beautiful this time of year.
"Minn-is-so-cold"? Not at this time of year. I'm nowhere nearby, but I'll guarantee he won't need any heavy clothing.
Yeah, it’s almost July, it’s 50 degrees in Alaska right now.
Anyway the headline is a bald-faced lie, he’s going to a fundraiser to connect with people who want to give money to his party.
I'm quite a few miles south of MN in WI, and it still seems chilly (and rainy) to me.
Thanks for the ping!

The “house wife” that he was visiting had been a campaign staffer for the Washington State senator Maria Cantwell (I’m pretty sure - or another democrat female).
It may have been patty murray.

She was a “field organizer” for Patty Murray.
