GOPe IGNORING ALISON GRIMES CRUSHING MCCONNELL IN KY
EEE | 28 JUNE 2014 | EEE

Posted on 06/28/2014 6:09:16 PM PDT by Extremely Extreme Extremist

But wait a minute. We all know that Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell is invincible and has the good-old boys GOP establishment working 'round-the-clock for him, right? Maybe they'll GOTV among blacks and Democrat voters?

Folks, forget about Mississippi and think about what's occurring in Kentucky for a minute.

Poll after poll after poll finds Mitch behind the 8-ball of his opponent, while he still hasn't made any of his other balls in the pool pocket yet. Grimes is completely running the table, and having shots of Jagermeister with her gal pals.

Granted, these polls are within the margin of error and are several weeks' old. But Mitch is below the magic 50% mark in all of them, and he's behind. That's dangerously low, like sulphuric-acid, fire and brimstone spewing at the Gates of Hades low, for a well-known veteran incumbent like McConnell.

So what does that tell you?

It means that grassroots conservatives are so capital F'ing disgusted with the GOP establishment, the beltway pigs, the K-street Trent Lott and soon to be Eric Cantor lobbyists, the U.S. Chamber of Cronies, and the Karl Roves who can't wait to feed at the trough assuming his guys win the Senate, that many of them are simply shrugging their shoulders and staying home, and saying the Hell with it, I'd rather have the Rat win so we can get this show on the road.

I don't see the Stupid Dumb-Ass Party winning the Senate this year, and the beautiful thing is, they can't blame us mean-old Tea Party wackos. Because Grimes is running a beautiful below-the-radar campaign. Sorry FReepers, I know Grimes is an out-and-out leftist, but props are given where they are due. She's gotten the obligatory endorsements from the unions, feminazis, and pro-baby killers. But remember, Democrats always cast themselves as moderate, middle-class suck-ups prior to the election, so Grimes is getting grimy and visiting an underground coal mine and talking college costs with Fauxhontas from Mass. See, see...she represents the people!

Yes, I know on these issues conservatives should reject the leftist narrative out of hand, but this crap does appeal to the sheeple and LIV, and the GOP is so focused on beating the Tea Party "insurgents," that they're completely ignoring the Democratic candidates in the general election that their pet RINOs will have to face.

McConnell, and possibly Thad Cochran and others, are on par to lose in the general election. The GOP establishment is still hungover at beating back the Tea Party. Like good RINOs, they'll graciously concede to the Democrats, and because they stopped the "insurgent" Tea Party wackos, they'll get rewarded by the leftist Ruling Class.

Those Chihuahuas and Poodles that are in Hollywood starlet's bags as they shop on Rodeo Drive? Yeah, that's the Republicans right now, getting petted by their Democrat valley-girl masters.

but this is not the time to give up, but to crawl over broken glass, if necessary, as they say and vote for the R candidate.

Why? The ones that actually act like conservatives are targeted by the GOPe. They cheat to get "their guy" elected and then tell us we had better vote for them but when our guy wins they do everything they can to hamstring them.

They can either act like conservatives or go pound sand. I am not voting for someone with an -R after their name so they can go to cocktail parties.

As I said there are only 2 choices, if you want the GOP to lose, that means you want the Dems to win.

asinine analogy...

Give me a break

No problem, glad to do it. I understand your anger and frustration, I share it.

I don't vote in Kentucky, but it looks like a toss up to me. Which is not good for McConnell.

I don't like either candidate, too bad Bevin turned out to be so inept.

If I were voting in Kentucky, I would never vote for Grimes. I'll never vote for a pro-baby killing Democrat, period.

I would probably go ahead and vote for McConnell if I thought it meant R's gaining the Senate majority, or if not I would at least vote in the down ticket races. I wouldn't stay home.

Yes, according to you, REAL conservatives are those who want the Dems to win, and “DU trolls” are those who want the Republicans to win.

Your logic makes perfect sense... (/sarc)

We get treated like crap by the democrats. We also get treated like crap by the republicans.

Therefore we should support the republicans.

What’s that about screwy logic?

How much are you getting paid to shill for the GOP? The economy sucks and I could use a few bucks.

Imagine you are the consumer of a particular brand’s product.

Now imagine the product produced by this particular brand had become unacceptable.

How do you respond?

As reluctant as I am to think it, I suspect the GOP-e won’t mind Grimes winning the general election as much as they would have minded Bevin winning the primary.

Better a Democrat than a conservative, in their warped minds.

Crawl over broken glass you say? Are you delusional? After what the GOPe has said and done to its conservative base? Were they crawling over broken glass in OK or MS? You are a political moron.

as long as Repubs maintain a majority in the House it doesn’t bother if liberal Repubs are ousted in the Senate. Its not like a Repub majority in the Senate will be greatly alter what’s happening now as Obama won’t sign anything Conservative anyway.

They say those who realize they lost the argument and run out logical discourse are the ones who resort to insults.

Looks like you have lost the argument long time ago and all you have left are insults — which reflect on you, not anyone else.

Keep going. We all see what you are.

The GOP is dead. Something better is on the horizon.

Karl Rove and Haley Barbour “Crossed the Rubicon” with resepct to Chris McDaniel ...

to hell with them, “forever” ...

Yep. I will not support people like that.

Towards the end of W’s administration, the media had open season on W and the republicans. Rove proved absolutely useless and a complete failure. He let republicans down. Fox News is the one that keeps recycling that clown.

Can we lose Cochoran and McConnell, but still get the senate? That would be the ultimate win-win.

So what if the Republicans get the Senate with those guys, what difference does it make?

I already posted this — but here it is again, you seem to have missed it — are all the tea-party organizations now suddenly “RINO”-s and traitors?

“All conservative groups who supported McDaniel are accepting the election results: FreedomWorks, Tea Party Express, Cloub for Growth, Tea Party Patriots, Ted Cruz, etc - it’s time to move on and not help the Dems defeat the GOP while waving the conservative flag.

National supporters leaving McDaniel to his own fate

http://www.clarionledger.com/story/dailyledes/2014/06/26/national-support-leaves-mcdaniel/11402881/

Article states (no quote because of copyright) that all conservative groups who supported McDaniel accepted the results of the primary.”

*******************************************************************

BINGO — We will accomplish NOTHING conservative as long as Obama is in office. It won’t hurt to SURGICALLY take out two of the most despicable RINOs in 2014 (McConnell and Cochran for the way they’ve screwed over conservatives and WARRED on the Tea Party). As for the other RINOs up for reelection in 2014, we can give a pass to them THIS time around. The RINOs remaining in the Senate will likely get our message and be a bit less “RINOish”. And the loss of these two HIGHLY despicable RINOs will be more than offset by TRUE conservative Republican Senators newly elected in 2014.

As for the house, it is becoming more and more conservative with many 2014 RINO retirements (and some defeats such as Eric Cantor) with many of their replacements expected to be conservative. The House will remain Republican controlled with a much increased conservative membership. In December it MAY be possible to purge some of the RINOs from leadership in the House.

By the way, my personal assessment is that McConnell will be defeated with near certainty with Cochran’s possibility of being defeated being more remote.

Yep. I was reading how Repubs could take the senate...and do what? A Repub senate majority with Boehner/Mcconnell in leadership will likey help Obama advance his policies since they’ve said no more govt shut downs and have rejected the Conservative Repub party platform.

Now is the time to dump the incompetents in the Senate GOP leadership then when a Conservative Repub is elected president in 2016 that person can accomplish more Conservative policies without the Senate Repub incompetents wimping out and helping Dems.

Quoth Moochelle last November (boldface added):

And let's not forget about that common-sense gun legislation, that so many of us feel so strongly about. Sadly as you know, that bill failed. Anyone know by how many votes? It failed by just six votes in the Senate. Six. So make no mistake about it: the midterm elections, they matter. They matter," Obama said. "So it is critical that we elect Michelle Nunn, Alison Grimes, Natalie Tennant. It is critical that we get them to the Senate. And it is just as critical that we elect -- reelect Senators Mary Kay Hagan, Mary Landrieu, Jeanne Shaheen -- it is critical, because we all know that it’s not enough to elect Barack Obama President if we don’t give him a Congress that will help him keep moving this country forward.

Any Kentuckyian who votes for her or who stays home votes against the Second Amendment!

I don’t think Innovative’s going to get a GOPe bonus check for this thread. He’s not doing too well.
