Though he is currently behind bars facing 11 felon charges for crimes ranging from gun possession to parole violations, viral Internet sensation Jeremy Meeks is seeking to reap the benefits of his well-received face. He was recently offered a modeling contract with Los Angeles-based Blaze Models.
According to TMZ, the 30-year-old criminal has his ex-porn star agent, Gina Rodriguez, to thank. Rodriguez, who is quite the experienced entertainment manager, oversees clients including "Octomom" Nadya Suleman, Farrah Abraham and, most recently, Donald Sterling's much talked about ex-girlfriend, V. Stiviano.
While this certainly may serve as some positive news once he is released from the San Joaquin County Jail, where he currently resides, Meeks first needs an exit plan as he is being held at $1.1 million in bail.
"I'm not exactly sure why it's so much money," Rodriguez told Fox News. "We're trying to secure him some of these deals so that when he gets out, it can change his life, literally."
The modeling agency said that because the "gangster look" is so "hot right now," Meeks could make between $15,000 and $30,000 a month as a professional model.
And yet somehow Rachel Jeantel got away. What is this world coming to...?
Wait for it... She had to graduate first and is being taught cursive as we speak...
Good for him.
It looks like to me his attraction is his piercing eyes.
Professional models, who want to last have to lead fairly clean lives. If he continues his past of drug use and criminality, he won’t last as a model.
It may be a good way for him to get his act together and I wish him luck.
And odd requirement, since I was not aware that either Octomom or V. Stiviano possessed those talents either.
Is that a teardrop tattoo?
Doesn’t that mean he murdered someone?
I would never buy anything with his thug face advertising it.
I’ve been told that it also means a simple stint in jail now.
It may also mean that he was raped in prison.

I clicked on an article about women gushing over this guy last night and in the facebook comments to follow the men were all like offended and saying women lie and they don’t really want nice guys, and that they are so stupid to wanna have relations with a felon, they don’t realize he would probably rape or murder them. I mean, they were really offended that women could find a “criminal” attractive lol. I thought it was unfair yet somehow endearing.
For some reason many a young woman is attracted to a “bad boy” look and persona. I don’t know why it’s wired that way but it’s mostly biological, not a choice. Most grow out of it when they’ve matured and at stage of wanting to settle down and have children.
It doesn’t mean diddly really....just means he thinks his either bad ass or too pretty or wonders why he never had a dad
Now if it were a Hells Angel Filthy Few patch it might mean something
He is a striking mullate boy admittedly
Striking to you...thug to me.
My father would have called him a punk and told him to keep walking past our house if he tried to pick me up for a date.
I grew up where there were cholo(spelling?) gang members running around. That teardrop meant they had killed someone. No joke.
I don’t find him attractive in the least.
Isn’t that special.
So either he killed someone, or was raped in jail, or is someone who marks the occasion of jail with a tattoo.
Wow, this guy is quite a catch. Ladies, you better catch him while you can.
Prison chic.
DANG!
Im waiting for the cultural burnout look to get hot before I get my porn star agent to seek a contract with a modeling agency
The “wiring” is similar to males’ response to physical attractiveness, but it’s a response to ‘strength’. The thug/bad-boy elicits the response in females the same way strippers do in males.
Females are wired to be attracted to strength.
Granted, these are urges most of us grow out of - or at least learn to understand, see beyond, and control.
Some do not, and are forever in thrall to these urges.
Bad boys at least act like they have testosterone, unlike metrosexuals worried about their manicures.
I was thinking about why females would be wired to have this attraction, because it doesn’t appear to be beneficial, but yes it must be a “strong protector” thing. The bad boy has confidence, probably a surplus of testosterone, and likely to be possessive(protective.) Kind of like the male being wired to attraction for certain female attributes that scientist say send signals of fertility. The funny thing is, I don’t see a basis for it. Plenty of females that fall out of the “perfect female form (waist-hip-ratio-glowing skin etc.) have many perfectly healthy children. As for the stripper thing, must be attraction to the “easy woman” as men do supposedly have primal need to spread their seed all over the place.
LOL you gotta love the dads of the past. My father would not have it if a guy yelled out to me from the sidewalk or honked his horn at the curb. Told him he’s to come to the door and ask for his daughter properly. Dad once heard group of guys make crude comments after we walked out of the airport (I was 15) told mom and I to walk away and he gave them a dressing down. Dad had a temper. He’s a short-statured man. But when riled into papa bear mode he’d stand up to anyone. God bless him.
I think it is the “strong protector” thing, but twisted, or made toxic...because that is the ONLY attribute that is seen to be important (though they are unaware of their compulsion to follow such inner dictates).
It’s obvious that thugs and strippers are not “safe” long-term relationship investments - not good bets for faithful mates. You and I and others see this scenario play out with nauseating frequency, do we not?
Yet it still repeats itself, because people are easily mastered by their whims, desires, lusts, and drives.
