Celebrating the ethnic diversity of America, President Barack Obama said more than two dozen foreign-born service members who became U.S. citizens at a White House ceremony on the Fourth of July are vivid reminders that the country is, and always has been, a nation of immigrants.
He said the vast range of backgrounds and experiences that made America a melting pot for more than 200 years also makes it stronger, but that the immigration system has to be retooled for the U.S. to keep its place as the greatest nation on earth.
"If we want to keep attracting the best and the brightest from beyond our shores, we're going to have to fix our immigration system, which is broken," Obama said...

The best and brightest do come here ... and they do it legally. There are no special classes in their native language for them in the public schools. They are the usual winners of spelling bees and science contests. They excel at music ... whether band or orchestra. They study multiple languages. Their parents don’t ask for handouts.
Yes ... they are the best and brightest of our immigrants. But they are not usually from across our southern border.

I have no problem with admitting the best and brightest. My parents were immigrants, and I work with some of the best and brightest from other nations.
However, most of what is streaming over our souther border is not the best and brightest. It is the worst and stupidest, the criminal and infectiously ill.
There is no valid reason to unleash this plague upon the American people, except as a form of crypto genocide.
No greater evidence that Obama believes ANYBODY AND EVERYBODY is/are better than every true born American. Lord save us from those who would/are destroying us.
We should reduce immigration to about 5 or 10,000 a year, or whatever the number would be to handle what I think of as administrative immigration based on a few specific cases that serve our nation, or some extraordinary hardship case that is related to us and our interests.
Taking in more than a million a year forever is obviously destroying us in quick time, a planned destruction that the left wrote into law, in the 1965 Immigration Act.

I’m thinking meritocracy (which is what best and brightest implies) is not something liberals in support in general much less in the specific case of unlawful immigration.
WTF? The most uneducated in the world are crawling over our southern border. As for the STEM foreign workers, there are plenty of unemployed that are American citizens, living on the Obama Freebies.
The best and the brightest DO NOT TRAVEL with
terrorists and plants carrying Swine Flu, weapons,
Ebola, tuberculosis, and weaponized infections.

Those on government support will feel nothing. Those that get their income from dividends, capital gains, and bond payments (trust fund democrats), are protected from high taxes.
The middle class is the group that's getting squeezed.
Republicans need to do something to economically punish the rich Democrats and the media for steering us all in the wrong direction.
A tax on the entertainment industry might get someone's attention.
He just wants to have a richer society , richer with more diversity provided by Africans or Muslims, all who operate at the tribal level. He thinks we can learn from them to advance our society.

I don’t know a single person I have ever met who would allow our own government or especially a foreign government to install a toxic waste dump in their back yard.
So why does Obunghole think it is OK to force on the American people the acceptance of this subhuman garbage and criminal waste from south of the boarder?
