Joe Biden: Gay Marriage Fulfills Declaration of Independence
Breitbart's Big Government ^ | July 7, 2014 | Tony Lee

On Friday, Vice President Joe Biden used an Independence Day celebration and speech in Philadelphia to compare gay marriage to the Civil Rights Movement and push for more gay marriage.

According to The Hill, "[Biden] said he was reminded of two Philadelphias, one where the Declaration of Independence was signed 238 years ago and the other in Mississippi where civil rights workers were murdered in June 1964, two weeks before President Lyndon Johnson signed the Civil Rights Act." After saying that the two Philadelphias helped give meaning to the words “all men are created equal," Biden reportedly said that gay marriage was the next battle to expand the "notion that all men are created equal.”

“You should be able to marry whomever you love,” he said, adding, "We have a lot more to do to fulfill the promise and meaning of the Declaration.”(continued)

So he went full racialist and full homosexualist in the same sentence? Couldn't his snarky twenty-something speechwriters find a way to throw in Hobby Lobby and/or gun control in at the same time? They're slipping.

I predict that the next round of lawsuits will be over polygamy, and then group marriage. Group marriage will consist of any number of partners, any gender of partners.

The same legal arguments which have been used to force homosexual marriage on us can and will be used to force other combinations of people which will be required to be called marriages.

Well, they hadn’t “evolved” like Joe, Barry, Hillary & her husband, who all opposed “gay marriage” at least as far as their official positions went, as recently as two years ago, IIRC.

On the side, how do you pronounce ‘Breitbart’? My husband says ‘brightbart’ but I swear I’ve heard it pronounced ‘brettbart’.?

At least polygamy has an historical and biblical background, something same sex marriage never had. King Solomon had hundreds of wives but he never considered “marrying” his masseuse or personal trainer.

” If he feels so strongly about homosexual marriage,” why doesn’t he just bend over.

Everyone knows that. It’s right there where it says “We hold these truths to be self-evident ... that men are endowed by their Creator with the unalienable right to bugger each other and pretend it’s normal.”

And I think it’s in the Constitution too, somewhere in the same amendment that establishes the wall of separation between church and state, and a woman’s right to post-partum contraception.

If Hillary! and Joe Biden ran as co-presidents, they might have enough undamaged brains between the two of them to pull it off.

Now, on the other hand, team JoeHill might make the Sunni punk look bad...

I think it’s ironic and highly amusing that the Left’s favorite hobby horse, the “right to vote”, is NOT a Natural Right.
