On July 8, the White House submitted its emergency budget request to the House of Representatives.
The budget request, which totals $3.7 billion, immediately drew flack from many representatives who called it a blank check.
Of the $3.7 billion being requested, fully $1.8 billion (about 49 percent of the total) is for resettlement costs
Much of the so-called "enforcement" portion of the budget is not truly geared toward removal; rather, it is a recouping of costs for temporary detention and subsequent transporting of aliens (including adults) to facilitate their resettlement and relocation by HHS.
The Department of Justice (DOJ) would be given $15 million to hire attorneys to defend the UACs against deportation in removal proceedings before an immigration judge. In essence, Congress is being asked to approve the executive branch's violation of the law. Section 292 of the Immigration and Nationality Act specifically prohibits representation of aliens in immigration proceedings at government expense.
A meager $109 million is being requested to facilitate anti-smuggling investigative efforts

No intention of deporting them EVER
Someone correct me if I am wrong....the 3.7 billion obama wants is larger than the current border control budget....?
Let the "executive" begin to act, then maybe some money.
625 million is for western wildfires
Half is for resettlement of the invaders here in the US
Just read the analysis at the link.... it’s pretty bad
Not one dime in the budget request will go to control the border. Not one dime.
99.5% cheaper ($19.6 million) to fly all of them home!

NOT.......ONE........DIME!!!!!
Not one damn dime. If they want 4 billion to ‘resettle’ these kids, they can take it out of the SNAP budget.
Make them pay dearly for their new voters.
The apprehension rate (most turning themselves in because Border Patrol will feed and transport them for free) is about 1,000 per day. The correct response is to put all 1,000 in front of a judge within 24 hours of apprehension - no lawyer unless one is provided and paid for by a non-government source - and ship them home that day. The same goes for illegal alien criminals (and they are all criminals since they entered illegally or overstayed illegally) found in our country. Supplemental appropriations should cover only a day’s food and lodging for the criminals, transportation home, and enough overtime for the judges that they are more than willing to hear each case for the brief period before the criminals decide it’s not worth their effort.
All illegals, whether apprehended at the border as they enter or found living and working inside the country, should be fingerprinted, photographed, and DNA swabbed, and barred from any path to legal reentry or citizenship ever. If we followed our existing laws, there would be a whole lot fewer people going through the time, effort, expense, and risk to come here illegally. As for the employers of these criminals, if they are paying under the table or below minimum wage or otherwise clearly know they are hiring criminals, they should be prosecuted and fined enough to discourage their participation in this crime.
This is rich asking for money to try to fix a problem the Administration started. Blowing $3 Billion on providing for these illegals will only bring more of them.
NO!
The fact is that the President already over spends the budget. He spends more than the federal government takes in for taxes. This would only increase the overspending.
I have seen Federal Law Enforcement personnel at the VA, the Social Security office and National Parks. The President should send them down to the border.
It is the President’s responsibility as the Chief Executive of The United States to coordinate ALL the resources of the federal government to stop this invasion.
If he is so incompetent that he cannot coordinate the efforts of the federal government, then he should be replaced. Palin is right.
