photo taking-tests_zps53c8fb9d.jpg Here is a series of quotes regarding the unlawful border crossing surge of thousands of migrants into the United States from Texas. All of the quotes below are from the same individual.

"We have an immediate humanitarian crisis that confronts this country. We also have a crisis in terms of: this country cannot absorb, nor should it, a limitless number of people, particularly children, who want to come across our border."

"Clearly we have to indicate that we cannot give these children sanctuary except under extraordinary circumstances."

"The United States cannot be expected to give sanctuary to every child in the world that is exposed to danger in their country because of the failure of the country's government, or the local municipality's government, to assist in keeping their own children safe."

"We cannot have people coming into the United States who are not authorized to do so."

Here's a fun quiz:

1. Is the person to whom these quotes are attributed, a racist?

2. Is the person who provided these opinions -

a. Rush Limbaugh b. Senator Ted Cruz c. Richard Cameron (the writer of this column) d. Democratic House Minority Leader Steny Hoyer

Answers:

1. We're not in a position to judge. 2. Correct answer – (d). House Democrat Whip – Steny Hoyer (MD – 5)

That's right, Steny Hoyer!!!!! No doubt some cognitive dissonance is setting in quite severely with the reader at this point, whether he or she is a Democrat, Republican or Independent. You did in fact read the quotes correctly. This is coming from a top Democrat leader in Congress!

What might account for this? The last answer is obvious. The Democrats probably know better than anyone, just how toxic Obama's actions and numerous and sundry scandals are with the voting population. Talk about 'breaking bad'; this immigration pandemic is breaking bad big time, particularly with independent and swing voters and the rank and file Democrat in Congress is running away from the taint of Obama as fast as their little legs will carry them.

Even viewed in this context, a repudiation of open borders by a Democrat leader is difficult to wrap one's mind around. Look for more damage control from the Democrats in Congress as these Constitutional violations of Obama and his administration cause more than simply head lice and scabies for fellow members of his party.

Mr. Hoyer thought the question was about the horde of Anglophone Canadian children streaming across the northern border.
