Democrat Says President Can Ignore Law If He Wants
Semi-News/Semi-Satire ^ | 2 August 2014 | John Semmens

Posted on 08/03/2014 9:30:32 AM PDT by John Semmens

House Democratic Whip Steny Hoyer (MD) acknowledged that “the President can’t legitimately legalize those who’ve illegally entered the country,” but suggested that “he could decline to enforce the laws against illegal entry against them.”

Hoyer argued that “it’s like the cop who decides to overlook your speeding because you’re driving your pregnant wife to the hospital. There are extenuating circumstances that make rigid enforcement of the law cruel.”

“Most of those in the country illegally came here for good reasons,” Hoyer pointed out. “They come from countries where their prospects and opportunities are poor—there are no safety nets. In America they can look forward to an array of social services like free education, healthcare, and guaranteed minimum sustenance to ensure that they are fed, clothed and housed. They aren’t limited to what they can provide for themselves.”

“So, while it’s clear that the President has no Constitutional or legal authority to take care of these people he may view it as his moral obligation to do so,” Hoyer said. “He’d just be being his brother’s keeper, so to speak.”

Oh wait, there's good news at the border for Obama (/snix):

"Dad I want you to meet my boyfriend Pedro Gonzales-Martinez. We're in love, I'm pregnant and we're going
to live in a trailer park in Tijuana."

"Pedro can't work b/c he has Chikungunya--he crosses
the border every week to get welfare, food stamps,
and unemployment and workmen's comp checks. "

"Pedro can't use his real name b/c he's a sex offender. We'll get by on EITC checks b/c Pedro has four children from different mothers."

"Yeo, amigo."

"We moved our base camp last night and we’re now positioned literally
within feet of the river. Have been sitting here watching the border
patrol patrolling in their riverboats all night and all morning..."

Yes, Obama should open the gates and “wall” around the White House, have a sleep over on the lawn. His daughters can have a sleep over with the “ children” who crossed the border illegally. Esp the ones with MS 13 tatooed on face and body. It’s for “the children”.

Let’s post it on Facebook, subito (/snix)

Sasha and Malia will love their well-travelled new amigos....not like those stuffy nerds at Sidwell.

It looks like the unaccompanied “Pedro” is signaling that he needs a diaper change.

The real truth is that the extenuating circumstances in this case is that the democratic party needs these illegal aliens as voters, as they are, little by little, losing black people, jewish people and union voters, as those groups slowly wise up to what the democrats have been doing to them.

I’m missing the satire. Hasn’t he been failing to enforce immigration laws his entire term of office?
