The IRS Destroyed Lois Lerner’s Blackberry, Too
PJ Media ^ | 8/26/2014 | Bryan Preston

After Monday’s bombshell about the federal government’s system-wide email back-up system broke, there was yet another bombshell.

The IRS “recycled” — destroyed — Lois Lerner’s hard drive in June 2011, just 10 days after Rep. Dave Camp had sent a letter to the IRS inquiring about the targeting of conservative groups that Lerner knew about and may have orchestrated.

The IRS destroyed Lerner’s Blackberry device, too. Even though there is no suggestion that it ever “crashed,” as the agency claims about her hard drive.

Even worse, the IRS destroyed Lerner’s Blackberry after it knew of the crash, and while the congressional investigation was underway.

The Blackberry would have contained all of Lerner’s emails.

I think because of the existence of the deluxe super-secret archive, the judge involved may force them to produce the EMails, or some IT flunquis will be in jail on a contempt charge. Better Obama in forced retirement in Hawaii than spending an unknown future in orange jumpsuits.

Until and unless there are real major personal consequences for Federal officials, this will continue. Some of these functionaries need to be picked up and thrown in prison for contempt of court and left to contemplate a long life through a small window until they come clean.

If that is the case, the coverup is turning this whole case into a repeat of Watergate. Lerner, Eric Holder and Valerie Jarrett better have access to really good defense lawyers on speed dial very soon....

What it really boils down to is that high government officials are protected from prosecution.

Their guilty will not be punished.

And if the Justice Department won't prosecute, what then?

I can think of only one solution: The AG’s of states whose citizens were targeted could launch criminal investigations against these IRS creeps and their 0bamao protectors and enablers.

It would take guts to do it though - guts the current crop of GOP weenies are demonstrably lacking. Now, if we had a 100 Trey Gowdies, instead of just one, things might get interesting.

My first question would be whether this was standard procedure. I have never seen a company destroy phones, especially blackberry. They are reused when a person leaves or wiped and warranty exchanged. Only dead devices out of warranty are destroyed. I’ve never seen a device destroyed because an emoyee is termed.

The Blackberry crashed when Lois stomped it with the 5” stiletto heel of her slut pumps.

Lois Lerner was on active duty when the Blackberry was destroyed in 2011.

She’s still an IRS employee, although she has been on “administrative leave” since May 2014.

could launch criminal investigations

Why? Once concluded, the only result would be to send a strongly worded letter to the perps and their enablers. The GOP is too weak to do anything, which makes each and every one of the rotten worthless wretches just as guilty as zero, lerner and the rest.

No no, you misunderstand what I'm suggesting: real arrests, real trials, real prison time.

Say, the Attorney General for the State of South Carolina issued an arrest warrant for Lois Lerner because he presented evidence to a grand jury that resulted in indictments that citizens of South Carolina were illegally targeted by the IRS, and then the IRS destroyed evidence covering up their crime, and then the Justice Department refused to investigate criminal allegations as part of the continuing cover-up.

As a first step, the SC AG issues an arrest warrant for Lerner, and because of reciprocity asks the DC police to make the arrest. It would be almost impossible for them not to comply with a valid warrant.

If they refused, the wheels would really come off the wagon, and we'd be in the middle of a Constitutional crisis, and headed towards Civil War II.
