Sunny, 5, from Warsaw is headed to Disney World thanks to Make-A-Wish.
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) A little princess from Warsaw is very excited to meet all the other princesses in Disney World this week. Sunny Sellers, 5, is on her way to The Happiest Place on Earth thanks to Make-A-Wish.
Elsa, from Disneys Frozen, came to visit Sunny at the airport and gave her a Frozen-themed backpack full of goodies.
The amount of stress and turmoil in peoples lives that they have to deal with when they have a child with cancer is tremendous and to have a break and have time away to be with your family is priceless, Adam Sellers, Sunnys dad, said.
Sunny is battling Wilms tumor, or nephroblastoma. Its a rare kidney cancer that primarily affects children. Doctors removed her kidney and the tumor and then Sunny had chemotherapy. But, after finishing the treatments in December, the family just found out the tumor came back in the same spot. Sunny will now have to start another round of more aggressive treatments.
Sunny is excited to open her Frozen-themed backpack full of Frozen-themed gifts.
We just thank God we got a two-month break in between her treatments. Not many people with cancer get that kind of break, Sellers said.
Now the family of five is thrilled to have a week in Disney World in Florida. Make-A-Wish is covering all the expenses and Allegiant Air donated the plane tickets. A limo even picked the family up from their Warsaw home to take them to the airport.

Its overwhelming sometimes and now someone else is taking care of things. Youre used to doing it for your kids and for someone else to jump in and just do all this for us, were extremely thankful. Its a breath of fresh air, Sellers said.
Hope she doesn’t get measles.
