On what planet is this even remotely moral, let alone true? And on what planet do these sick, ethically bankrupt scholars hail from? If you view a child in any sexual connotation whatsoever, you are not a man but rather a soulless scourge of creation; a predator devoid of all emotion and humanity who deserves to be castrated. What parent would ever accept their little boy or girl being violated in the name of “nature”, or more succinctly, progressive thought? Honestly, who in the hell could even watch such a revolting injustice, let alone participate in it? The mere thought of such an abomination is both heart-wrenching and sickening. Not only is a child emotionally, mentally, and physically unprepared for such an event, they will suffer serious and irrevocable damage: psychological trauma, bodily harm, disease and/or the inability to conceive their own children in the future. Have we learned nothing from the countless stories of sexual abuse and the horrific, far-reaching effects suffered by victims? Apparently not, for even to deem “pedophilia” normal, with or without moral implications, is to justify its prevalence. Who would even utter such a repulsive suggestion?
We are not animals who are mindless slaves to the slightest triggers of impulse and instinct. Humans are sentient beings, blessed with unparalleled mental faculties and whom possess an innate sense to differentiate between right and wrong. Then again, some animals obviously have a far greater moral compass than those who enable such crimes or prey on purity. A child is not a toy, a disposable piece of meat, because progressives reject societal limits on sexual behavior...i.e., perversion. Children are a blessing, the embodiment of innocence and hope, and we are all held accountable for their well being. It has been long suspected that the homosexual agenda went far beyond seeking equal rights and acceptance; its most subversive goal was unadulterated access to our youth. Apparently the best way to achieve that goal is to declare it’s also perfectly acceptable, dare I say natural, for heterosexual sex offenders as well. Thank God progressives had the moral fortitude to ban prayer from school, dismiss family values and declare Christianity the creed of extremists. Of course you don’t need religion to have a soul or an education to live a moral life; you just need to give a damn!

This is a danger of how our culture has accepted this whole notion of “sexual orientation”. In a world in which there are no morals or values, and we are non-judgemental about things, then attraction to children can be said to be just another “orientation”.

Think of it as the Helen of Troy theory. A lot of misrepresented truth.
The addiction issue can’t be overestimated. It’s addiction on crack/steroids. It is dehumanizing in the extreme. There is a war on under the sheets. The gay hegemony is only the first phase. They won’t stop until protecting your children will get you thrown in jail.

A very, very little-known fact.
Under common law, for many centuries the age of consent was 10. This continued to be the case in most American states, with a very few at 12, till the late 19th century. In Delaware the age of consent was 7 in 1880!

BTW, pedophilia refers to attraction, not actions. We can, well, most of us, control what we do.
It is very difficult, perhaps impossible, to control who we are attracted to.
However, cannot get my mind around how someone can see a cute, innocent child and be turned on.

People did have a much shorter life expectancy then. Not that it explains it. Even historically I have never heard of kids getting married that young.
Actually, the “much shorter life expectancy” is greatly exaggerated.
What they had back then was a much higher rate of infant and child mortality. Consider three brothers. Two die at birth, the other lives to 75 years. The life expectancy of all three is 25 years.
A man of 35 or 40 was not considered elderly in the past, even the distant past. The Bible itself refers to 70 or 80 years as a “normal” lifespan.
I ran across this age of consent factoid due to watching a TV show on Netflix called Copper, about an Irish cop in NYC during the 1860s. Had an extended segment about a young girl forced into prostitution. Made a big deal about the fact that she wasn’t considered underage. Could not believe that was true, so looked it up.
The show seemed to have a creepy fascination with 11 year old girl prostitutes, so I stopped watching it.
Age of consent doesn’t have anything to do with marriage, as such. It’s the age below which a person cannot legally consent to sexual intercourse.
