Baltimore’s misplaced “rage” and the vicious dog next door
Coach is Right ^ | 6/3/15 | Kevin "Coach" Collins

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, who is either a bad Muslim or a good liar, has written a cautionary tale about the anarchistic riots in Baltimore being just the beginning of the trouble for the city. He tells us, “One thing that history has taught us is that civil unrest is rarely just about what incites the incident. From what information the public has been given, Freddie Gray’s death seems like a malignant cocktail of negligence and abuse, and the charges brought against the six officers seem to confirm that. But we’ve seen this all before—many times.”

This man is a college graduate who was educated in a good Catholic high school when both of those things were indicative of a person who could think past propaganda and politically expedient lies. So what can we make of Jabbar’s pronouncement that, “the charges brought against the six officers seem to confirm that [they did something unlawful]?”

Are these the words of a good Muslim liar or a political puppet trying to find some relevance in a world that has passed him by? Will he come back and write an, “Ooops I was all wrong about Freddie” piece when the truth comes out? That is doubtful.

Will Jabbar tell the truth about how America’s misled Blacks have been taught to hate the wrong people by the actual villains who misled them? That would be asking much too much from a man who has dedicated his life to membership in a violent and destructive cult.

Can he ever say anything that is true about how Black America got...

“...a malignant cocktail of negligence and abuse...”

Gee... no mention of media bias?

It’s the words of the jerk that Lew Alcindor has been his entire public life.

From NPR of all places, I found out something unique about Baltimore and St Louis:

They are not within any county.

It means that as people become more affluent and move out of the city, they move to areas that can never be annexed by the city. The result is the tax base actually SHRINKS as the need for services INCREASES.

The fate of these two cities in a politically correct world will not be good.

This kinda reminds me of my take on Detroit when I was there. It is like a donut of development with a seriously depressed hole in the middle. The “hole” is called “detroit”.

What's going on at Coach Is Right? Any changes in Ownership? Sponsorship? Editorial staff? The quality of the opinions have been steadily dropping over the last few months. I've been finding them belligerent, uninformative, accusatory and falsely constructed with obvious omissions.

Correct. The City of Baltimore is a county in itself. Not a part of Baltimore County or any other county in Maryland.

When driving on most roads that cross the city line it is obvious when that happens with a bump due to the difference in the road surface. The City’s roads are not as well maintained.

I think the Coach has jumped the shark on this one.

The inciting incident with an infusion of highly skilled professional agitators from outside and encouragement from the city government and from the President and the DoJ doesn’t need much else to make for urban “unrest.”

If they are made of wood, but heavier than a duck and we can build a bridge out them, guilty!

The word ‘negligence’ can hardly apply to a community that in 2013 received 1.8 billion in ‘stimulus’.

Where is the money now? Where is the ‘effect’ of such largess?

Is it humanly POSSIBLE to bogie 1.8 billion without even a PRETENSE of having had a plan to serve the community? as ANY accountability tied to the ‘stimulus’?

Who walked away with their pockets SO stuffed with cash that they STILL must be hugging themselves in disbelief at their OWN dumb luck? Who is out there in Baltimore STILL laughing their collective a%$es off at the credulity and idiocy of American taxpayers and the clueless leadership that parted with 1.8 billion, without even blinking just as if it was so much confetti?

That a black persons race is 1st and foremost and trumps everything....even the truth, and that IS the truth with many blacks. I’ve seen it too many times.

“Where is the money now”

You might want to check the honorable Baltimore mayor’s bank account.

NYC apparently is a city made up of multiple counties - each bourough is a NYS County. No sheriffs are elected though.

I think the Coach has jumped the shark on this one.

The quote you cited is from Kareem...not 'Coach'.

Right and they’d be JUST dumb enough to put it into a US bank account!! Why not?

No one is going to come looking for it OR prosecute them if wrongdoing is suspected!

I know. It is Coach’s apparent lack of reading comprehension that is the point. He is reading into Jabbar’s words something that is not there in an effort to stir up misplaced outrage.
