Skip to comments.Netroots Nation: Where Some Lives Matter and Some Donít
Posted on 07/19/2015 6:21:08 AM PDT by NOBO2012
Netroots Nation convened in Phoenix this weekend and it was such a target rich environment that even the Instapundit couldnt even up. The incoming Twitter gems from Netroots 2015 were just too prolific for anyone to capture all of the good ones.
As always, Netroots was concerned with all things progressive from: Bees (#BeeLivesMatter)
to Racism (#BlackLivesMatterWhiteLivesNotSoMuch). Which led Martin OMally to apologize for his audacious assertion that white lives matter too.
That was a mistake on my part.
Finally, the congregation settled on Netroots main theme this year: white peoples failure to talk enough about what else? race. Many retweets expressed this sentiment butt I think Reynas said it best:
Sorry Reyna, butt somebody already tried that:
And in case youre too young to remember and they failed to teach you this in school - a lot of white people ended that conversation. Unfortunately that conversation keeps coming up time and time again.

I’ll talk about race:
“GET OFF YOUR LAZY BLACK ASSES AND GO FIND A JOB, GET OUT OF YOUR MAMA’S HOUSE AND LIVE ON YOUR OWN, PULL UP YOUR PANTS, AND MAKE SOMETHING OF YOURSELF INSTEAD OF SLEEPING IN THE GUTTER”
When that happens, we’ll talk....
Race, antibiotic resistant bacteria fatalities (20-25 thousand annually in the U.S.), etc. only make crickets chirp.
It's a self-correcting problem.
The only question is, can the country last long enough for them to pass from the scene.
I guess we'll find out together.
Like homosexuals, they don’t need to reproduce. They recruit.
