I think he answered this question before. The blame gop because Bush was in office

If Bush had fought against the demo policies and lost, then you could blame the dems. But Bush didn’t; so he gets the blame.
Herbert Hoover could have avoided the Great Depression, but he followed leftist nostrums for "recovery" and is usually blamed for the Depression.
Bush-43 was the biggest disappointment for me since 1972.
Iraq war was unmitigated disaster. 3771 soldiers killed, 100,000 injured and $2 Trillion piled on to national debt. For what? Can someone show me any benefit for all that sacrifice in blood and treasure? Saddam was keeping Islamic extremists in check. ISIS would be impossible under Saddam.
Then Bush-43 piled on another entitlement on the country..prescription meds, while medicare & medicaid are already going broke.
Then another blunder by Bush-43, to bail out big Wall Street bank, or TARP. Crony corporatism of the extreme kind.
And the Bushes want a 3rd Bush to govern us? Pray America is waking.
“I think he answered this question before. The blame gop because Bush was in office.”
Bush did nothing to quell the leftwing blaming him for it. Therefore he is to blame.
Actually, the Democrats had a firm hold on Congress in 2007-2008. That was the reason.
Blaming Bush is a bumper sticker response to a real problem.
