So far, I’ve received confirmations from several candidates, but have yet to receive a written response from Ryan. Congressman Ryan has noted he does not want to adbmit to preconditions.
House Speaker’s race is not about the person. It is about the principles, and structural reforms so that the process serves the best interest of the American people. This is too important a decision to leave to a few people good old boys. For our party to re-unite, and get things done, our Speaker need be of the people. Communicating honestly with us would be a good start.

I’m convinced Paul Ryan’s appointed job is to take out the Conservative voice that has the GOP so scared and worried. They can’t seem to take out Trump, so they are going to make us Conservatives have no effect on the election. I don’t know how they are going to silence us out here.. but they’re going to try real hard.

They still think if they can just get rid of the 200 (they don’t know the huge number we have who are fed up) loud and persistent persons who are pumping Trump’s numbers up, then Jeb will be back in and in the lead. Every time I hear someone on the news, say “Trump’s numbers will go down and Jeb will be back in the race”... NOPE... no matter what happens to Trump’s numbers, we don’t want Jeb or any GOP’s choice. They’ve fooled us for the last time... never again!

Ryan picked a Chamber of Commerce guy to run his staff. So the Chamber is obviously who picked him for this gig.
The Chamber is also investing $100 million to defeat tea party candidates in the next election.
They should vote as a group for Daniel Webster and make Ryan (1) admit his posturing has been b.s. all along - he wants the job and (2) he’s not a conservative but rather an open borders poseur.
If things don’t take a turn in the congress and if we don’t get a president we want, I think conservatives should and will abandon the Republican Party.
No one - least of all the GOP - is trying to fool you or anyone else.
Unless of course you consider being ridiculed and spit on some form of subtlety.

Mr. Jefferson wrote that rule in the House allowing a member to call for the ouster of the Speaker TO PREVENT THE SPEAKER FROM BECOMING A DICTATOR. Why did Ryan DEMAND exemption from that rule??

Sounds like a lot of people are being made an offer they can't refuse.
The answer to that one is obvious, at least today it is. He can get away with it and is being enabled to do it.
