Who do you THINK will be the next candidate to drop out? I'm including the Democrats but excluding some of the Republicans who really aren't running any kind of campaign (Jim Gilmore, Lizzy Graham, Pataki...) Bonus points for picking when.

Jeb Bush
Ben Carson
Chris Christie
Ted Cruz
Carly Fiorina
Mike Huckabee
Boddy Jindal
John Kasich
Rand Paul
Marco Rubio
Donald Trump

Hillary Clinton
Mark O'Malley
Bernie Sanders

My pick would be Jindal. It should be Rnad Paul but he's got too much of his daddy's arrogance to know he's beaten. I don't think anybody will drop out before the end of the year, unless finances force it.

Graham. He is polling less than 1% and has no presence.

Kasich is next, probably by the end of the month. Jeb should go too, but the GOPe will keep him propped up for a while longer. They just have to groom his replacement Rubio.

Huckabee, Jindal and Santorum can continue to run low key low budget campaigns well past New Hampshire. Not that I think any of them are going to catch fire, just that they all have their tiny but loyal constituencies.

O'Malley has absolutely no reason to remain in the race any longer unless he's just raising money for the perks and attention. The same applies to Jeb, Kasich and Rand Paul.

I agree. His lame responses on immigration translated into “I am not president material”.

I think it will be Chris Christie. Being dropped to the undercard debate was embarrassing, and if he stays there he’ll branded with that.

The one I wish would drop out is Kasich. The idea of that frenetic, whiny, big-government loving “think about the children” jerk even having a snowball’s chance of becoming president makes me sick.

You know.... I’d never vote for him... but there are elements of what Rand Paul says that I like. Really, I even like the way he says it. The arrogance does not bother me. Like I say, I would probably not vote for him, but I kinda hope he hangs around a while and adds his perspective.

I couldn’t believe some PAC bought an ad for Linda that ran on FNC last night. 60 seconds of whine-a-thon about how “his voice is being silenced”. Think of all the lottery tickets they could have bought with that money and had at least some chance of winning something.

Hard to say. Guess would have to look at who is getting zero donations. Jeb maybe because Columba needs a new wardrobe smuggled in from Paris and will need the war chest.

Can we put my man Gilmore into the list of candidates, so that we can then predict when he will drop out?

The problem with this is the McCain effect. Since he came back from the dead in ‘08 every one of these guys feel like they can hold out until Iowa, thinking they can pull off the same Lazarus trick.

I was always a bit partial to Gov. Walker anyway, but I greatly admire how quickly he saw the writing on the wall and got out with his reputation and dignity intact.

Unless the puppetmasters have some trick up their sleeve to try to steal the nomination, and he's part of it. I'll feel much better when Jeb, Kasich, and Carson are gone.

There are those who are doing well. Or at least they think they are in the first three states or national polls. There are those who have their own money. And there are those who need to stay in a while because they need the publicity. They are media hounds and their next job depends on their name recognition. Those people will stay in for now.

Then there are those whose money is running out. Those people who have real jobs (senators don’t have real jobs.) Those people will get out because they are running out of time to campaign or they are running out of funds.

I agree that Jindal would fall into this category. Christi will get there soon as well. Both are tired of being Governor and are looking for a national job. If I were president I would never hire Christi. He does whatever he wants. Even if it hurts those around him. But Jindal could get some cabinet job.

I hope Hildabeast DOESN’T drop out. I hope she is REMOVED. Preferably in shackles and chains and under indictment.
