Hi Yall!
My son's preschool teacher asked me to find a children's book about Martin Luther King Jr. for next week. Does anyone have any advice on a good one? s
Thanks in advance! BamaGirl
Ha that’s a good one.
Black like me?
Horton Hears A Who Dat!
Little Red Riding Hood?
The biography of James Earl Ray.
http://nogreaterjoy.org/shop/listen-to-my-dream-book?___SID=U Listen to My Dream by Debi Pearl. I haven’t actually read it, but I like their other stuff.
There was a cartoon “Coal Black and the Seven Dweebs” or something like that. I don’t know if there is also a book.
FMCDH(BITS)
The Smile Ambassadors...but its about a two-headed turtle, not MLK...But Zack and Mack did write the tome! They have a follow up too, The Smile Thief and as we sit, the boys are working on their third book, The Smile People.
Don’t know if that qualifies, but Zack and Mack are a pretty awesome duo, being two-headed and all of that. It is suitable for all humans!
I have not read this, but it gets decent reviews on Amazon.

Several books by Joel Chandler Harris come to mind.
The Bible.
Dr. King was a minister, what better way to honor him.
Tom Sawyer
Nice idea, but you are overlooking the fact that this is for a pre-school class. We need something with pictures!
The ‘customers who bought this also bought’ list looks worth browsing through as well.
Audacity Of Hope by Brock OBAMA!!!!!
Get a copy of his FBI file. That should be interesting. You can introduce your little one to new words like “prostitute” and “Communist”
