Without audio it is impossible to tell when firing starts, what verbal commands were given, etc.

From what I've seen on the video though, they wouldn't want me on the jury. I'd have a hard time clearing anyone (law enforcement or civilian) for having shot and killed him. From what I've seen, not justifiable at all IMHO.

Where is the media hysteria we saw on CNN, Nancy Grace and other shows when police shot a thug such as in Furgeson? Any statement by Loretta Lynch? Obama?

Finnicum apparently forgot which side his holster was on. Every pic I see of him he is wearing holster on the right side. I’ve looked at the video his hands go to where he was shot. I don’t see the case for him going for a weapon. Did the body have a gun??? Did they release the car? How many holes were in the body?

LaVoy went to the Taser prongs sticking out of his left back - not his shoulder holster.

The officers appeared to be way too far away to hit him with a taser. The maximum effective range for a taser is 35 feet. I didn't see anyone closer than 50 feet. (except maybe the guy he almost ran over). Plus with the winter coat on, the effective range would probably be about 20 feet. The officer would literally have had to stand next to him to fire a taser.

Pretty much what I expected.

When it happens, it happens fast.

A couple of thoughts.....

He did come out of the vehicle with his hands up.

It was deep snow and even the law enforcement people are stumbling around in it.

The law enforcement pursuit vehicles show up after the shooting? Shouldn’t they have been right on his tail?

There were places to put a roadblock long before the location they chose.

In a “snatch” operation, you want the person to see that there is no possible escape so that he immediately gives up.

If Lavoy was going to shoot it out, wouldn’t he have run to the back of the truck for possible cover?

Law enforcement had shields and a dog. Why didn’t they use them when approaching Lavoy.

I am still of the opinion that this was a screwed-up “snatch” operation. Though the failure of the pursuit vehicles to pursue is making me wonder if it wasn’t just an ambush.

Law enforcement has changed the story too much and failed to immediately produce evidence.

They are making it look like a coverup.

Perhaps some of these law enforcement personnel should be in a different line of work. And I don’t care about how nice of guys they are.

The mission was to get these people alive.

The mission failed.

An American citizen appears to be surrendering and is killed. Failure should be punished lest we get more of it.

Watch the video as the guy in the trees behind Finicum rounded the bush after doing whatever it was that he did.

He's messing with some wires.

Also, he's got a right-hand holstered handgun.

You are correct. Second eye witness Shawna Cox has been released from prison here is her testimony.

Please Pray for the Patriots. In addition to witnessing the murder of LaVoy Finicum and surviving an ambush Shawna Cox Son in law Logan Brown was killed in an unexplained explosion and fire on 1-29-16.

Use the ass-end of the truck for a reference.

A truck rear-end is about 6 feet wide.

The guy in the trees got a little less than two truck rear-ends away from him, at full arm extension.

If they were, we will never know about it, or at best, the cameras suffered “technical difficulties” at the crucial moment of the altercation.

Or have I become a total cynic?

The FBI wanted to kill these “domestic terrorists” and partly got their wish.

A thought on the issue of political party manipulation of government .

The FBI should be an investigative entity of the Federal Government. The States should provide the arrest, and internment. There should not be an armed Federal Law Enforcement. If the armed military should not perform domestic service (Posse comitatus), why should any other of the Federal entities associated with legal issues? We have seen the possibilities of abuse throughout our lives (IF you’re my age, or older.)

The FBI deems somebody should be arrested for a crime against the people they should provide the State the information, and let the State confirm, or deny the action(a check on the Fed). Action confirmed the State should then pursue the legal action, the arrest, the trial, the incarceration if deemed necessary.

The Fed is out of control, and is malleable politically.

So you don’t have an answer to my question, and you want to avoid admitting that their theory is 100% wrong.

Okie dokie.

total conjecture and making crap up to fit their agenda. No one can see anything in this video or to put the better, anyone can see anything. Proves nothing.

That guy has been providing good coverage, I wish I could hear that interview better.

One thing I’m now convinced of... the McConnell character is a shill.

Trust me you will never get the true version of what happened. Just hold this in your memory banks because a bigger fight will come along and it will help you decide when to personally stand up.

If he had been tased and the cops knew it, then it was probably bad shoot. He did appear, at least from the POV of the guy who shot him of reaching for a weapon.

First of all, what were these guys doing leaving the compound? I thought they were holding up indefinitely.

The FBI did not storm the compound and these guys voluntarily left.

Once he drove off it was a felony evasion and for the most part it appeared to be a SOP for dealing with a felony evader. If it were anyone else and the video showed the escaping driver reaching inside his coat, the shoot would have been considered a good shoot. This guy was known to be armed and also had said publicly that he was not going to be taken alive.

Under these circumstances if I were on the jury I would have to consider this one “suicide by cop.”
