In his book The Snapping of the American Mind, David Kupelian asks the following painful question that millions of Americans like myself have pondered for years and will ponder for some time to come as America slowly rips itself apart. Kupelian writes, âHow could it be that hundreds of thousands of Americans fought and bled â and many died â on foreign shores to contain an evil and metas-tasizing ideology variously called communism, Marxism, socialism, collectivism, or statism, and yet now, just a few years later, we would gaze up at the pinnacle of power in our own country and behold leaders in thrall to essentially the same core ideology we fought and died to protect strangers from?â
The answer to this is can be found within the culture itself and more specifically within Americas youth who have seemingly embraced the concept of socialism with little to no understanding of what socialism even is. Yet, like frogs slowly boiling to death in the cesspools that have become our college campuses, our nations youth collectively embrace the ideology that will destroy them while demanding that they be âprotectedâ from opinions that run contrary to their beliefs.

She pledges allegiance to the America that can be.
She knows what’s best for us.
HOW could ANYONE vote this horrible woman?
There’s a GOOD reason she’s referred to as Hitlery
PROGRESSIVE = REPRESSIVE
Bkmrk.
You got it. Yesterday’s socialist is today’s progressive which is tomorrows communist.
Same reason Obama was elected twice.
Yesterdayâs socialist is todayâs progressive which is tomorrows communist.
You’re exactly right.
Progressives are extremely intolerant and totalitarian. They are a mean and nasty bunch.
The people with their “COEXIST” “Embrace Tolerance” and other similar bumper stickers would smirk as their opposites were loaded into the cattle cars.
Those advocating socialism have never lived under it or they assume that their money, influence, or dedication to the state will insulate them from the harm that will follow.
A socialist leader is just some jackass who wants to ride in the presidential limousine and live in the presidential palace but realizes he/she can’t get there in the present system so he/she convince a bunch of idiots to go out and kill and die for them.
Socialism is magic beans that lead to a giant who eats you.
Preciesly, yet how does one explain the fact that an overwhelming amount of our nations youth seemingly embrace the idea of socialism? Its stunning to me.
They are extremely stupid and haven’t bothered to notice that EVERY socialist country in the world has failed miserably.
See I don’t think they look at it that way. They KNOW that socialism fails but being failures themselves they embrace it and want to cause misery for the rest of us.
“Preciesly, yet how does one explain the fact that an overwhelming amount of our nations youth seemingly embrace the idea of socialism? Its stunning to me.”
It was taught to them in school for at least a dozen years, all day long, day after day, week after month after year. Plus: American exceptionalism shamed, capitalism is cruel, Christianity’s God poo pooed, humans are merely rearranged pond scum, babies are inconvenient, sex is for fun, boys having sex with boys is normal...
The result; kids wearing “Che” t-shirts, “Ready for Hillary” and now Bernie Sanders bumper stickers. There’s already a generation of them out here voting.
A planned economy is most attractive to those arrogant enough to think THEY will be part of the "planning class".
The people most in favor of "redistribution" assume that they will be redistributed TO, not redistributed FROM.
If you look at the personal lives of the "intellectuals" of socialism, they never accomplished anything productive. Their only skill was in being articulate.
