I wonder if Obama’s announcement that Trump “will not be the nominee”, then all of this unprecedented nastiness is proof positive of the uniparty?
Excuse me, “president”, not nominee, still...
TED CRUZ: U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee, Hearing, 5/21/13:
"And I'd like to make a final point to those advocacy groups that are very engaged in this issue and rightly concerned about addressing our immigration system and, in particular, about addressing the situation for the 11 million who are currently in the shadows. If this amendment is adopted to the current bill, the effect would be that those 11 million under this current bill would still be eligible for RPI status. They would still be eligible for legal status and indeed, under the terms of the bill, they would be eligible for LPR status as well so that they are out of the shadows, which the proponents of this bill repeatedly point to as their principal objective to provide a legal status for those who are here illegally to be out of the shadows. This amendment would allow that happen, but what it would do is remove the pathway to citizenship so that there are real consequences that respect the rule of law and that treat legal immigrants with the fairness and respect they deserve. And a second point to those advocacy groups that are so passionately engaged. In my view, if this committee rejects this amendment, and I think everyone here views it as quite likely this committee will choose to reject this amendment, in my view, that decision will make it much, much more likely that this entire bill will fail in the House of Representatives. I don't want immigration reform to fail. I want immigration reform to pass. And so I would urge people of good faith on both sides of the aisle, if the objective is to pass common sense immigration reform that secures the borders, that improves legal immigration, and AMNESTY: that allows those who are here illegally to come in out of the shadows. Then we should look for areas of bipartisan agreement and compromised to come together. And this amendment, I believe, if this amendment were to pass, the chances of this bill passing into law would increase dramatically."
That is bad craziness. That CPAC wouldn’t cut him from the program is alarming. That they would allow Trump to withdraw, rather than telling Beck to pound sand, tells you just how low CPAC has sunk.
The people see these debates for what they really aren't...and they aren't debates...
They are just a platform for the GOPe and the news media to try to destroy Trump's candidacy...Trump made a wise move by pulling out...
Cause he knows that the questions he will get from CPAC will make the debates a walk in the park.
Beck: If I Were Next to Trump at GOP Debate With a Knife the Stabbing Just Wouldnt Stop
From Gateway PUndit
“
Leading Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump abruptly canceled his scheduled speech at CPAC Saturday morning as his campaign announced an appearance in Wichita, Kansas the day of that states caucus.
Likely factoring into Trumps decision was a planned protest walkout during his speech at CPAC and the need to have a campaign presence in Kansas.
The organizer of the walkout, William Temple, who parades around CPAC in colonial garb, told BizPacReview he expected one thousand CPAC attendees to participate in the Trump walkout.
Temple organized a similar walkout last year during Jeb Bushs speech at CPAC that drew around 300 protesters.”

But since cpac is about important as !Yeb right now, I say f'em and head to Kansas
Skipping CPAC is the right move for Trump. He only needs to get through the next ten days and win Florida, after which Rubio will be completely cooked. So why walk into another circus designed to take him down? No upside, only downside.
Trump is good at smelling traps.
Do you think Trump knew that CPAC’s Grover Norquist’s business partner and co-founder of the Islamic Free Market Institute with Abdurahman Alamoudi who is now serving 23 years for sponsoring terrorism? Do you think he knew that Norquist’s observant Muslim wife was Alamoudi’s Communications Director? Do you think Trump knows that Norquist sponsored Suhail Khan for membership on the board of CPAC sponsor, the American Conservative Union? Khan is the son of a founder of the Islamic Society of North America. Suhail has sworn to further his late father’s goals of an Islamic U.S.
Trump must also know about Norquist’s Muslim Brotherhood son-in-law, his wife’s history of Muslim Brotherhood activities, and his support of Sammy al-Arian, now deported Muslim Brotherhood sponsor.
Or, Trump, like most of Congress and its enormous community of lobbyists, appreciating the enormous amount of influence money spewing from middle-east oil interests, could simply go along to get along.
