Excuse me, but you don't seem to be comprehending my posts.
Of course, Cruz was a Canadian citizen -- by Canadian lights!. I never contended otherwise.
But Canadian law is irrelevant to the question at hand because, according to American law, Cruz was always a U.S. citizen and never a foreign national.
By the way, I fail to see the distinction between a Canadian consulate, the Canadian embassy...or a Canadian official in Canada. They are all equally representative of "Canada".
Cruz will be our first foreign born, dual nationality president.
Hey, sounds good to me.
I don’t like it.
I’d support Cruz wholeheartedly otherwise.
Well that is a clever way to avoid reality. What records did Ted show to enter school or get a driving license? I would be satisfied to see just those documents.
Has Ted Cruz sealed any of his documents Try this.
Trump has 10 billion big ones to deal with.
What about the Selective Service at 18, did He sign up here are Canada?
Did he signup at all,we saw Obamas forged registration but none for Cruz.
WELL perhaps we should ask where it is and what he used when signed up and why it did not ring bells for non citizen signing up. Maybe he broke the law and did not sign up, or knew he was Canadian and did not need to,
A judge in Illinois ruled Cruz was a NBC a month or so ago, so would remain on the ballot. This judge in PA is at least the second one to rule that way.
No. That is incorrect.
“REUTERS An Illinois judge on Tuesday threw out a lawsuit that sought to have Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz removed from the states primary election ballot on a technicality, saying it had not been properly served on the Board of Elections.”

About the only thing I’ll ever give McCain credit for is that he got something passed in DC that defined him as eligible before before he ran, and that because he was born on US-controlled soil.
***********************************
Actually, McCain was born in the country of Panama; not in the Canal Zone. Pelosi is the person who signed off on him being eligible... probably because she knew he would be a very weak opponent.
You are correct that the court hearing on the case was dismissed on a technicality (Cruz not personally served).
O.K. Tried your link...and found everything that was needed in the Williams piece, which was lined thru the Marshall piece.
There is a Canadian Certificate of Birth, which is accurate (and obviously not under seal).
There is the renunciation of Canadian citizenship, also obviously not under seal.
As to the question whether Cruz was a citizen or at least nine years beore taking office as a Senator, we have the fact he was a U.S. citizen upon his birth 42 years prior.
The only thing missing appears to be the Certificate issued by the State Department confirming his status as a citizen-at-birth.
However, even if his parents forgot and failed to obtain one (many do), Cruz' status is unchanged. From military children who found themselves in the same situation, I'm told the paperwork will still be issued -- it just takes a little longer.
So, upon inspection, I've no problem -- though I'm certain you will.
FWIW, those that questioned Obama's eligibility put too much on his producing a birth certificate that said "USA". Once that was produced, the birther objections lost credibility. But now, the irony is, that's the very thing Cruz cannot produce....the thing they said Obama had to!
That's why I say Cruz's eligibility is not a settled issue.
How do you suppose he enrolled in any government program, school, Draft, Driving License, or College without an American Birth Certificate. Why would he not of already presented it? I suspect if you saw it you wouldn't like it, unless he has an Obama type.
Obama only ever presented a picture of his birth certificate.
It was an obvious fake because the document contained layers and a photograph can not add layers to an image. Bear in mind the the hippy governor promised to personally show us the Birth Certificate but after elected, announced that he could not find it.
Strange that no part of Cruz's story causes you any problem. At the very least he was a dual citizen when he was elected in Texas. Claiming he didn't know is a farce.
