I’m looking further down the road when the House and Senate flip to demorat which I do believe will happen if he’s elected Pres,.......Trump could easily go with a moderate, which I think he will.....

Decisions being made now have much to do with the NEXT election after these 4 to 8 years.

Knock it off! You’re part of the problem Trump has in uniting people.

“Knock it off! You’re part of the problem Trump has in uniting people.”

yeah, right, Concern Troll. You haven’t said a single good thing about Trump, you’ve just been trying to raise bullshit “concern issues”, trying to sew FUD throughout FR:

here’s a sample of YOUR posting history; you’ve certainly been a busy lil concern troll beaver:

It’s all of the above that has people very concerned including many who voted and supported Trump.......his recent comments on minimum wage shook some who voted for him.....and rightly so.

The bottom line is nobody knows what Trump will do, including Trump, because he’s been all over the board in his positions......he’s a “responder” to the moment at hand....and how it “feels” to him.

I also don’t think the deep supporters of Trump can be shaken by anything he does or says. Just as the Obama supporters are with him.

There’s several I’m hearing from concerned who voted for Trump....he’s making them skittish as he moves hard left

I don’t buy that Trump would even by accident nominate a conservative SCOTUS Justice.... Even just a little pushback from the Democrat majority in the Senate will get him to fold and nominate a “moderate”.

I’m also not sure just how Trump will handle the GOP once he’s done using them in the General....obviously many aren’t willing to hook to his wagon even now. So there’s much to be concerned about.

Well I’m not hearing Trump mention the National Day of Prayer which is today

That’s right......Trumps got a ways to go yet to position himself against Hillary ...further he admitted he wasn’t prepared when Cruz bowed out, which showed his people are not on top of things. If he didn’t see that coming, and moreso be already prepared for that, then how’s he going to handle the Clinton Machine????

I just don’t see Trump pulling off all he needs to do for the general election to “prepare”.....he’ not good at that at all...and the general election is a whole nother beast than the primary.

ep....there’s still a convention and we’ll see what’s up there. Crazy things have been happening in this election process. .....and Cruz is strangely quiet now....

.....”I’m betting hard left turn.”.....

No doubt......but he did say he’s a different Republican?....whatever that means.

You haven’t been correct about Trump yet.

Keep posting your nonsense. Then, if you are still around and didn’t get zotted.

We can serve you, your replies like dead crows.

What a miserable back stabber you are!

Should President Trump be as moderate as some predict, why the concern by some about the House and Senate flipping to Democrat control? If he is insufficiently pure, both would likely remain in Republican control.

If a maniacal Hillary Clinton is POTUS we can be assured of a serious challenge to the Second Amendment being mounted, for example. I would not be surprised if several SCOTUS judges even decided to "retire early" to give her "room" to appoint younger leftists still in their mid-40s or early-50s.

There is no reasonable benefit to banking on the notion of replacing a crazy Hillary Clinton in 2020. There is way, way, way too much is at stake to roll those kinds of dice.

Grandpa put down your gun....or you can remain part of the problem Trump has in uniting the people behind him. I choose to voice my concerns along with others here.

Both parties believe control of the Senate over the next two years is crucial.... Demorats ‘already’ are on the move regarding Senate appoinments and support the day after Trump won Indiana...they are not letting any grass grow under their feet.... Democrats see the Senate as a critical defense against the uncertain actions of Trump if he wins. Republicans are also running to secure those in office......what’s happening NOW is a mad rush to secure the Senate by both parties.....

....”why the concern by some about the House and Senate flipping to Democrat control?”......

Because as soon as Trump got the presumptive nominee following his Indiana primary win Tuesday Demorats swiftly moved to tie the GOP standard-bearer to vulnerable Republican Senate candidates. Control of the Senate is now underway.

you’ve been ‘grievously insulted’ by commentary on an internet chat forum...?

There is NO WAY that the election of crazy Hillary Clinton to POTUS helps our cause short-term or long-term.
We simply must stop her in her tracks and then adjust for any peculiarities/unexpectedness in President Trump when/if it arises.

She would assuredly send our nation down the tubes far faster than any of our seventeen candidates. A bit of faith in Mr. Trump would be beneficial here.
His ego is such that he would want SUCCESS for our country.
At least we know he will not substantially change the Constitution in a way that meaningfully hurts the bulk of Conservatives.

No one here is going to smooch your hindquarters for your vote, come November.

If you genuinely have a burning, itching desire to see the Butcheress of Benghazi in the Oval Office for the next four (or eight) years, you need to own that. Openly BE what you truly are -- "out and proud," as your (new) ideological bunkmates always say.

Your vote is your own responsibility. Trying to make it someone else's -- for whatever reason -- just ends up making you look like a mug.

Here endeth the lesson.

There's no doubt Hillary would further trash this nation while she and Billy tagged all the International Leaders abroad while she's been State....her pawns are well in place to bring us into the Global Agenda.

But I have no confidence that Trump isn't also on that same slate. Though he may indeed come through in such a manner to benefit this country, that will not be without the people bending and sacrificing for that to happen and I believe far more than they will want to willingly do.

Nobody knows what he will do and even your comment attests to that. So I am right to question the man and to have this concern about him. I'm anxious to see who he chooses for VP....if he's as smart as he says that choice could calm the nerves at least to a manageable level for many.

...”Your vote is your own responsibility”...

That’s exactly right.... other than that in your post there’s nothing more to address. I don’t engage with people still bitter or angry toward other Freepers. So we’ll end this here.

People need to understand what is going on. Rush Limbaugh and many talkers are in on it as witnessed by listening to Limbaugh sabotage Trump today!.

Cruz just suspended his campaign. He is still out there stealing delegates for a run at the convention.

Cruz knoews he won’t win the voters vote in the remnaining states, so what he is doing is making people think Trump has won it to suppress Trump voter turnout.

Do Not let Cruz get away with this this folks.

Any "bitterness" or "anger" you imagine hearing in my postings is -- just like your vote -- your own responsibility, and none of my own. The right man came out on top, so everything is beer and skittles, so far as I'm concerned.

Make your choice. Accept responsibility for same. Done.

.....”Trump is going to have to persuade a LOT of people, and especially people who have been grievously insulted by him or his supporters.”.....

Well I think it's more than just the insults.....they will heal in time.

I just would like to see the man show some kind of consistency other than his rhetoric and standard rally bites. His platform is equally unstable as he changes like the weather...it's certainly not by and large the Republican platform despite people picking out what they want to hear and believe... rather this election has all been about who not to vote for. Sad really...and it looks like the general is going to be the same thing for many.

I've hated this election cycle from the get go and do not see this is going to change in the general, in fact will surely get worse.....unless these threads open up to reasonable dialog I may just sit out FR until the election is over....there must be freedom to voice ones opinion and that's been crushed here. ...too many still attacking even though Trump won....they just can't put it away.

Well if you mean from the election....of course....my guy lost.... You and others know what this is like when Obama won and we lost....it doesn't go away quickly.

If you mean getting booted from FR....that didn't happen...I left for a time because there was a death in the family.

Well next time it may be involuntary. We are now moving on to the general election and Donald Trump is our nominee. Time for you to stop the ignorant posting which is just tedious and get behind our candidate. Or move over to the Daily Beast and pimp for Hillary. Nobody wants to bear the Trump bashing a y longer.
