Except the kind of crap the Clintons pulled prior to Gingrich’s conservative revolution was minor compared to the kind of crap Obama has pulled from Day 1 in office. And Gingrich took steps to stop the Clintons, whereas the Republicans have done nothing since they first took over the House and then the Senate, thus emboldening Obama to act more and more dictatorially and in knowing and reckless violation of law.

The news that you watch is propaganda. In a 24 hour cycle, you have maybe 15 minutes of news to report - the rest is filled with infomercials. I would actually read a report from a reporter, but there are no reporters left- only entertainers and clowns that advance their own agendas.. elections are such revenue generators. That is why the media has generated the result they wanted: Trump vs. Clinton. The media wins, the consultants win, the senators nd reps win, etc. The only loser is America. I no longer watch Fox, CNN, or the networks as I will never learn a damn thing from their biased reporting. I do read at least twenty papers a day, mostly opposing viewpoints, because I do desire to know the truth. . America is angry because they have been lied to. As a vietnam era vet, I know what that means. If you want to be happy, trust no one. Not in the Media, not on this forum.. Dig it out for yourself. I have seen more horse asses, as well as knowlegeable people in the last six months on this forum, than I thought possible. It is up to you to sort it out if it is important for know the truth. No one can explain it for you. Edward R. Murrow said it best when he said: “do not be deluded into believing that the titular heads of the networks control what appears on their networks. They all have better taste. All are responsible to stockholders, but they must schedule what they can sell in the public market.”

It is called revolt. Rebellion is unlawful uprising against legitimate laws and authority.

Revolt is fighting against unlawful laws and corrupt authority.

The country has been systematically lied to, cursed at, belittled, and agitated by people who consider it their due, and a necessary part of the “change” they’re after. That will piss nearly anyone off. In fact, it appears to have worked on their nominal fellow travelers on the Left as well, which should be an enormous warning sign to eyes who can read it. That means it’s out of control, and the people generating it are all about control. At the moment it does not look likely to end peacefully, at least not soon.

You mentioned 1968 elections. Did anything really change among the parties though in 1972? Just curious.

It was whatever William Buckley and the National Review called it. Anti-Left I guess, but not clearly pro-freedom enough for me.

Never before have I seen America at the brink of civil mutiny as I see these days.

Other than on this website, I don't see anything happening.......And this is a mere microcosm of the internet and certainly not a reflection of the country.

Well, the legitimacy of the revolt is staying within the Constitution which is what the revolt should be all about: a rebirth of political and economic freedom by reinstating the Constitution as written and originally understood and intended, as the Supreme Law of the Land. The feds are constitutionally empowered to tax individuals by the 16th Amendment which badly need to be repealed. Until then, revolting against paying federal taxes would put the feds on constitutional high ground.

Oh, I didn’t see that at first.

The “conversation movement” is my sad typing and auto correct at work although a conversation movement doesn’t sound like too bad a thing either.

... the date was July 25, 1967.
I was only two weeks into my tour of VN and as the news of Detroit and other cities rioting worked its way overseas, many of us thought we were safer in 'Nam.

Your right..Americans are pissed off and rightfully so!!!

We have been screwed over since Reagan, lied to, ‘back room deals’, bills that are not given to the Congress to go through like the Constitution says, and we give Iran 150 BILLION dollars, did WE get to vote on that? NO...

Did we get to vote of that POS health care plan that Barky got through? NO...

But we are suppose to be like sheep and just do whatever...WRONG!!!

NOT THIS TIME...We have our Presidential Nominee, people don’t like him, fine, don’t vote for him, go to another Country, we don’t care...HE’S OUR CHOICE...THE AMERICAN VOTERS CHOICE...sad your candidate didn’t make it, get over it that is what you would tell us, so now we are telling you, GET OVER IT...

Mad isn’t strong enough right now, oh and take this ‘bathroom bill’ Loretta Lynch and put it where the sun don’t shine, if NC wants their laws this way, stay the heck out of it, this isn’t a JIM CROW law that was passed in 1964, course I guess you weren’t in this country at that time, and take that stupid idiot that is in the White Hut with Reggie with you when you leave!!!

Dang man, after the federal government gets gutted (except for the military), let’s start a “conversation movement”. People talking with one another, enjoying life.

:)

I always get those backwards.

I guess it depends on which side you are on, as well.

because we haven’t had this much garbage shoved down our proverbial throats before... and no one has even tried to stop it. We’ve been ignored by the GOP .. and called dumb, dense, uneducated, ignorant, poor, lower class, and not able to know what is good for us.

Yes, angry to the core!!!
