Mills was to take a deposition yesterday. She fought it in court and was still required to appear. Nothing in any sources. Did the deposition occur? Why no mention in the press? Is this the end for Hillary or "more of the same stalling tactics"?
Im sure she took the 5th like she did with the state department IG . She succeeded in sealing the videos so the people of this country could not watch her take the 5th. I suspect Hillary has or will take the 5th. As her lawyer, I would advise her to take the 5th. What she was found doing in the IG report was ILLEGAL!! Further delay in this by the FBI is POLITICAL!!

As sworn deposition of Hillary Clinton’s closest aides gets underway in the civil suit brought by Judicial Watch, an interesting motion has been filed by the legal team of Cheryl Mills, a former top Clinton aide.
The motion that was filed this week asked that any audio or video of Mills’ upcoming deposition not be allowed to be released to the public, due to concerns that the video may be used to “exploit Ms. Mills’ image and voice in an unfair and misleading manner.” Or said otherwise, Mills doesn’t want her body language and uncertainty in her voice - as she answers questions about the way Clinton managed communications - to be shown to the public.

Lawyers for a former top aide to Hillary Clinton filed a motion on Wednesday asking a federal court to bar a conservative watchdog group from releasing a videotape of her upcoming deposition as part of a lawsuit related to Clinton’s private email server.
The aide, Cheryl Mills, “supports the release of the written transcript of her deposition to the public,” her lawyers wrote in a filing on Wednesday. “But no additional public interest would be served by the publication of the audiovisual recording.”
The lawyers said they “are concerned that snippets or soundbites of the deposition may be publicized in a way that exploits Ms. Mills’ image and voice in an unfair and misleading manner.”
“Judicial Watch should not be allowed to manipulate Ms. Mills’ testimony, and invade her personal privacy, to advance a partisan agenda that should have nothing to do with this litigation,” they said.
Additionally, lawyers are saying that Ms. Mills isn’t a party to the action, rather Mills is a private citizen appearing voluntarily and as such Judicial Watch shouldn’t be allowed to invade her privacy or manipulate any testimony.
“Ms. Mills is not a party to this action. She is a private citizen appearing voluntarily to assist in providing the limited discovery the Court has permitted. ... Judicial Watch should not be allowed to manipulate Ms. Mills’ testimony, and invade her personal privacy, to advance a partisan agenda that should have nothing to do with this litigation.”
So far, Judicial Watch as refused to agree not to publicize any portion of the video from the deposition, leading Mills’ lawyers to claim that the video may be used as part of a partisan attack against Clinton.
“That refusal raises a serious concern that Judicial Watch plans to use the recording of Ms. Mills’ deposition, and exploit her image and words, as part of a partisan attack against Secretary Clinton and her presidential campaign,” the lawyers claimed, citing Judicial Watch’s “long-standing antagonism” to Clinton.
Judge Emmet Sullivan gave Judicial Watch and the State Department — the two parties involved in the case — until Thursday to file their responses.
Politico adds that depositions for former Clinton aide Huma Abedin and computer technician Bryan Pagliano are now scheduled to take place in the coming weeks, and if the judge agrees to Mills’ request, it is likely that others will ask for similar treatment.
As a reminder, the civil suit brought by Judicial Watch is separate from the FBI’s probe, and alleges that Clinton and her top aides tried to thwart federal record keeping laws by using a private server to conduct official business.
It is interesting that Mills wants to only have the transcript of the deposition released but not the video - wouldn’t want the public to be able to see her struggle to answer any questions around what really takes place behind the curtain now would we.
JMHO but Hillary will NOT make it to the convention. Some excuse will pop up, illness, family, Bill some excuse.

After the Congolese government attempted to regain control of its own mines, the State Department intervened on behalf of Lundin Mining and another mining company, Freeport Mines, also a Clinton foundation donor.
A round of talks in 2010, thought to be aided by the Clinton State Department, concluded with the pair of well-connected companies retaining their stakes in the mines and with the Congolese government being shut out of its own resources. (hat tip Schweizer book---Clinton Cash)

A key aide of Hillary Clinton emailed classified information about the government in Congo to a staffer at the Clinton Foundation in 2012, according to a copy of the correspondence obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.
Cheryl Mills, Clinton/s chief of staff at the State Department, sent the email to the Clinton Foundation’s foreign policy director, Amitabh Desai, on July 12, 2012.
The message, which was originally obtained by the group Citizens United through a public records request, is partially redacted because it includes foreign government information that has been classified Confidential by the State Department......but was not marked classified by the State Department until this past summer, intelligence sources tell the Free Beacon that it would have been classified at the time Mills sent it because foreign government information is considered classified from inception.
The message could add to concerns from congressional and FBI investigators about whether former Secretary Clinton and her aides mishandled classified information while at the State Department.
About half of the forwarded message was redacted due to its classified nature before the State Department released it to Citizens United last month. Although it is not clear what the redacted section includes, the State Department said in a court motion filed last week that it concerns both foreign government information and critical aspects of U.S. foreign relations, including U.S. foreign activities carried out by officials of the U.S. Government.
The State Department added that the disclosure of this information has the potential to damage and inject friction into our bilateral relationship with African countries whose cooperation is important to U.S. national security.
The Clinton Foundation and the State Department did not respond to request for comment about the email, or say whether Desai...a non-government employee who has worked at the foundation since 2007....would have been authorized to view Confidential information.

EXHIBIT FOUR--- The State Dept email, which discussed the relationship between the governments in Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo, was originally drafted by Johnnie Carson, the State Department/s assistant secretary for African affairs, who sent it to Mills State Department email address.
Cheryl Mills later forwarded the full message to the foundation/s operative along with talking points for ex-President Clinton shortly before Bill Clinton was scheduled to visit the Congo region.
MORAL OF THE STORY When Hillary smells money, she will flout the law to suck-up to Clinton Foundation donors....particularly w/ financial stakes in the lucrative oil/mineral mining industry.
You are confusing civil and criminal law. In criminal law you have the rights of the accused, including taking the fifth.
In civil suits once under deposition you are obligated to answer all questions. Failure to do so can result in a contempt charge.
That is why Bill Clinton had to answer questions about sex with interns. It was not the government asking him those questions, in which case he could take the fifth, but rather the private lawyers of the woman suing him.
As for inspectors general anyone taking to them is voluntary, so Mills and other Hillary aides did not have to take the fifth their, either. They just said “no thank you”
(Washington, DC) Judicial Watch released nearly 70 pages of State Dept records showing then Secy of State Clinton and Deputy Chiefs of Staff Huma Abedin and Jake Sullivan, received and sent classified information on their non-state.gov email accounts.
The documents, also available on the State Department website, were obtained in response to a court order from a May 5, 2015, lawsuit filed against the State Department (Judicial Watch, Inc. v. U.S. Department of State (No. 1:15-cv-00684)) after it failed to respond to a March 18 FOIA request seeking: All emails of official State Department business received or sent by former Deputy Chief of Staff Huma Abedin from January 1, 2009 through February 1, 2013 using a non-state.gov email address.
The new documents show Secy Clinton used the clintonemail.com system to ask Huma Abedin (also on a non-state.gov email account) to print two March 2011 emails, sent from former British Prime Minister Tony Blair (using the moniker “aclb”) to Jake Sullivan on Sullivan/s non-state.gov email account.
The Obama State Department redacted the Blair emails under Exemption (b)(1) which allows the withholding of classified material. The material is marked as being classified as Foreign government information and foreign relations or foreign activities of the US, including confidential sources.
Another email shows that Clinton wanted to know how meetings in Washington, including a four-hour meeting concerning America’s war on Libya, would impact her Hampton vacation. Responding to an email that details the sensitive meetings in DC, Clinton emails Abedin on August 26, 2011, Ok. What time would I get back to Hamptons?”
Again, this email discussion takes place on non-state.gov email accounts.
The FOIA documents also include advice to Clinton on Libya from Sidney Blumenthal, a Clinton Foundation employee who, according to a Judicial Watch investigative report, also had business interests in Libya. Clinton wanted Blumenthal’s March 9, 2011, Libya memo to be printed without any identifiers.
The newly released Abedin emails include a lengthy exchange giving precise details of Clinton/s schedule using unsecured government emails. The email from Lona J. Valmoro, former Special Assistant to Secretary of State Clinton, to Abedin and Clinton reveals exact times (including driving times) and locations of all appointments throughout the day. Another itinerary email provides details about a meeting at the United Nations in New York at 3:00 on Tuesday, January 31, 2012, with the precise disclosure, that would mean wheels up from Andrews at approximately 12:00pm/12:15pm.
These emails show that Hillary Clinton isn/t the only Obama official who should be worried about being prosecuted for mishandling classified information. Her former top State aides (and current campaign advisers) Huma Abedin and Jake Sullivan should be in the dock, as well, said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton.
The Obama State Department has now confirmed that Clinton, Abedin, and Sullivan used unsecured, non-government email accounts to communicate information that should now be withheld from the American people in the interest of national defense or foreign policy, and properly classified.
When can we expect the indictments, Fitton concluded?

She did fight the video but prior to the Deposition. Deposition was scheduled for 5/27/16. Judge ruled out the video on 5/26/16. I can’t believe she would be truthful regardless. According to other posts(with links) Mills forwarded classified emails that Hillary sent her. That is a crime in and of itself. Hillary directed her to forward same and that is also a crime.
