One thing this forum needs is a edit function AFTER a post goes up. So many times a mispelling or awkward grammar slips through...
I really wish I had them at my side when I was in the Marines and did house-to-house assault in Fallujah.....why in that picture, anyone of those "Marines" looks like they could carry the M240G and 600rds of 7.62x51 1:4 linked, and water, and SAPPI plates, and kevlar flak, and kevlar helmet, and spare barrel, and, grenades, and still run down the street, house to house, through heavy enemy machinegun and rifle propelled grenade fire....
AND be able to drag a wounded Marine to safety....AND be able to continue to carry his ammo and ordinance after he's been CASEVAC'd.
And during all of that still be able to look face to face with the enemy ages 8 to 80 and kill them without second though, or remorse. And do this hour after hour, day after day.
I'm "certain" they could do this............or not.
I'm so glad I'm out.

And, women have forced the old personnel departments in companies to become gigantic human resources organizations dedicated to dictating Orwellian creeds and stopping the numerous lawsuits filed.

What, pray tell, am I ‘dreaming’ about? I feel my analysis of my gender’s strengths and weaknesses was fairly even-handed.
I agree with you. There are some things women can do better than men.
I was a hurdler in college. I can remember seeing how easy it was for girls to go over the hurdles. Of course they were lower by a good bit and I was a lot faster but getting that trail leg over the hurdle was much easier for girls who were far more flexible in the hips.
There is one camera assembly job which I now forget but it could only be done by Japanese women with their very fine and delicate motor skills.
I think he may have thought you meant equal in combat.
If I had to make a guess (and it is just a guess, based on observation and what I know of myself) I’d say the top 20% of women would be better in a modern military situation than the bottom 20% of men... so yes, there would be a very few women who would make an acceptable recruit.
But when people who know far more about the military than I do say that even having a small number of women on the front lines would be disruptive, and when I see how standards ARE lowered so that more than the occasionally physically qualified woman can pass, I can’t believe that even allowing the top women into the ranks would be a good thing.
I -do-, however, think women should be eligible for a ‘draft’ or sorts in times of crisis, to be conscripted into jobs of a national-service nature while the men are off fighting. Yes, many women will volunteer, and did on the home front in WWII, but if we reach a point where men are being drafted to go fight, I see no reason why women shouldn’t be drafted to work jobs of great need back in this country where they can support the country’s efforts.

In the real world which up until the middle of the last century even in the developed world was quite harsh for all but those at the rarified top men and women were not remotely equal in capability or survival
This new found era of comfort gives you an illusion of equality and how good you are at yoga would not stop a man my size from killing you in a matter of seconds were you unarmed

Historically women have depended upon men to save them for good reason.
And it’s not because men were exploiting them
I’ve spent a good part of my life in world environs where women unprotected by men suffered badly
They didn’t entertain foolish notions of being equal to men beyond Gods eyes
This whole concept that women are all things is mutually assured destruction foisted upon the gullible by the undesired

Friend, you are wrong. The reason for having women in the military is to destroy the military.
Our leftists hate the country. They would like nothing more than to have the US military morph into a darling UN security force. If the left can turn the descendants of German warriors into cowardly pussies, as has already happened in Germany, they can certainly turn the grandsons of the greatest generation into the same. Training will be weakened. And the men who would make the best warriors don’t join because they are disgusted.
