Why Not Look at Top Secret Email Recipients? (Vanity)
My Feeble Mind | 07/07/2016 | Texas Booster

So the FBI admitted that "only" 110 email chains contained "classified" material, and at least a couple contained higher than Top Secret.

Why does Congress not investigate people like Blumenthol, who received and re-transmitted that Top Secret material? Plenty of precedence for such charges.

We all know the reason that the FBI will not, that the DOJ prosecutors would not prosecute these cases.

Buy why not Congress?

OK, so Hillary's defense is that they couldn't find a DOJ prosecutor that would indict a fellow traveller.

Why not follow the trail and see what pops up?

They first discovered the entire operation when Blumenthol's emails were hacked, and TS material was found in his emails.

Understood, and the entire DOJ is a subsidiary of the DNC/Obama Machine.

So why won't Congress at least ask questions?

Even the DOJ received emails from the server. The evidence is in the hands of the DOJ even without the FBI’s involvement. Think about that for a moment.

Comey seemed like it was perfectly logical for a private attorney - holding no security clearance - helped his client vet through potential state-secret laden email accounts to be turned over to the ‘owning’ Federal agency. Nothing to see here, move along. Comey’s own agents did not have the ability to view some the evidence because they did not have a high enough security clearance. Go figure!

It was enlightening listening to Levin and Adams tonight, about the amount of crosstalk that travels up and down the chain in the DOJ during investigations.

So much kabuki theater.

What’s also interesting about Blumenthals emails to Hillary was that he was giving her fresh and up-to-date top secret info lifted directly from highly secret NSA signal intelligence.

Where the hell did this fawning toady Blumenthal, who hadn’t been in Government for 10+ years, get this highly classified info??

Congress has demonstrated a dozen times now that all they need is to chase 2 rabbits at the same time to become utterly befuddled and blow this whole thing into a blithering fog of atomized dogs**t. You’ve heard the expression “You had one job”...meaning, you had one thing to do and you blew it? They absolutely cannot walk and chew gum at the same time. This has been proven multiple times. This is but one job and it is a difficult one because half of Congress has zero interest in the national security implications of this and it is no great stretch of the imagination to think that Benghazi happened as a direct result of the leakage in HRCs email system. That of course matters so little, you understand. But more than that, half of the Republicans do not want Trump to win and the chances of him winning are enhanced should HRC be knocked out. So as I see it, being generous, an absolute maximum of 20% of Republicans have any interest whatsoever in pursuing this to an indictment and would much prefer to blither this away into nothingness. That way they can get into stupid arguments with each other like they always do and look like the useless idiots they are and DO NOT MIND being. So long as they retain their office.

No. One topic. One aim. One path. Get this one right.

So why won't Congress at least ask questions?

Because they're in on it.

The hardest parts of prosecuting Clinton are first, deciding which crime to pursue charges on; and second, staying alive.

Hillary’s people let it be known a few months ago that if she’s going down she’ll demand that EVERYONE who sent/received classified information will go down with her. That includes Rs, Ds, the administration, congress, and many others.

If intent doesn’t matter all of those people could also be indicted by the law. None of them wanted to have to explain why it didn’t matter for their few emails but did for Hillary’s dozens or 1000s. Almost nobody in DC wanted this to go anywhere - it would be difficult for them or their friends or their party.

On some of the classified emails Hillary CC’ed people who had no reason to get the email. One theory was that she wanted more people caught in that trap - I don’t buy that but it did get more people on her side in this fight.

I think you would find a burner phone type of senario.

The crook creates a gmail account for a specific task, and deletes the account after five days.

Next, the crook be assigned a email account on @clinton.com. One party saves a message in “draft” form. The messge is never sent, and anyone logging into the email account can read those draft message, and create their own draft replies.
The messages are never sent, and information and documents are communicated across boarders.

Lot’s of ways to cover your trail
