I work 2 days a week at my local voting precinct and I checked it Thursday, it was fine...but I would suggest you go to your precinct and actually check it...

Not to sound condescending, but is there any chance at all that someone else has the same name as you, and that the voter registration you saw actually DOES belong to someone else?

I checked my registration by name and there are at least 6 with similar or the exact name as mine in my county.

I’m good because I had a canvasser come by for a candidate and asked for me by name.

It probably was innocently switched with a person who voted right before or after you did at the last local election. Just go down to your county clerk’s office, turn in the wrong one and get a another with the correct info. I’d advise you to vote early just in case.

So sorry that you ran into this. You should contact local media, maybe? So they can put a story on the air for others (and uncover some massive fraud/scam?).

We actually received our ballots last week, and I dropped them at the election commission office Friday. We have already voted.

More importantly I checked my mother’s voter registration. She will not be voting in this election. I made sure of it.

I am indeed registered where I live now, but, also still registered in California, though I left there 10 years ago.

Any way to see if I "voted" since I left?

I would call the California Board of Elections and ask them and CANCEL your registration there! Good job on checking!
