The accomplishment realized by the election of Donald Trump last night, was that the Republic was not lost. This is for naught should the hot iron lie unstruck, and the swamp is fester undrained. Do it, and the 21st century will be an affirmation of our "shining city on a hill:" global leadership, peace, prosperity and justice. Do it not, and America may yet be subverted into a force for evil non-pareil.
The Supreme Court must be restored to once again uphold the law - the intent of the law - under the Constitution - the intent of the Constitution.
The incremental usurpation of liberty by legislative blunder, judicial overreach and executive fiat must end. Individual rights granted by the Creator, and specifically protected by the Constitution, must again be held sacrosanct.
The corrupt and compromised career politicians and apparatchiks must be punished for their crimes and held to the same standard of law as the common citizen.
The media must be called out and mocked as a colluding, in-kind contributor to and propagandist for the Democratic Party, and not a provider of information.
The bureaucratic deep state must be withered. Americans are burdened to provide these unproductive elites a standard of living reflected in the disproportionate wealth of the Washington D.C. region, and yet that still isn't enough as they brazenly rob future generations and obligate them to fund their extravagances.
The ever-ratcheting burden of regulation and anti-federal arrogation of centralized power must be abrogated in favor of liberty, productivity and wealth creation. The Ninth and Tenth Amendments are not a speed bump, they are a foundational principle.
The weaponization of the federal government apparatus to persecute political opposition must end immediately. The government must answer to the people, and not the other way around.
The willful deterioration of the military must be reversed, and senseless involvements overseas which squander blood and treasure without advancing the interests of the American people must be curtailed.
The open invitation to third-world aliens by granting de-facto citizenship without legal consequence must end. Unlawful sanctuary cities cannot be allowed to subvert the rule of law. Immigration policy must again favor those who will contribute to and subscribe to the tenets of American society. For those here now, that starts by obeying American immigration law, and for us by enforcing it.
The undue sway of international financiers over our government and electoral process must be rooted out and eliminated. I'm looking at you, Soros.
The trade deals, international treaties, tariff structures and onerous taxes that have debilitated America's manufacturing base and by extension, national independence, must be thrown off and remade to favor the interests of the American people and not the well-connected on Wall Street, the multi-national corporate entities, or foreign actors.
The corrupt voting processes instituted by Democrats which undermine the sanctity of the vote and the democratic process must be halted. This is true disenfranchisement of citizens and must be punished to the full legal extent. To curtail fraud, a single-day voting duration with positive identification and proof of citizenship, and an independently verifiable audit trail ought be made policy in as many precincts as possible.
These, among others, are fronts which must be engaged. Make no mistake: the Left is a cornered weasel that will slash and flail at every attempt. There will be blood. Government of the people, by the people, and for the people is not yet ours again, but no longer is it out of reach.
After eight years of rampant mendacity, corruption, graft, obstruction, malfeasance, recklessness, and disdain for the American people, the working American taxpayer that has been made grist for the mill of the federal government apparatus has ironically recovered something lost over the last eight years:
Hope.
Now the work begins. The opportunity is ours if only we seize it. Use this new ingress to pressure our representatives to enact the agenda they were sent for. Do not accept the staid glad-handing bipartisan kabuki theater they offer, while advocating only for their own personal self-enrichment.
And donate to websites which carry the truth to the people. Like, oh I dunno, this one.
Finally: Rejoice and give thanks to God, for tomorrow promises a better day, and a better country, than today.

Time for the “feet to the fire” movement to begin. The border wall, Islamic immigration, overregulation, all the key points of the campaign have to be followed up promptly. Any foot dragging on them must trigger a tsunami of comments reminding the new administration of the promises.

I’m heartened that so much of the commentariat seems to have the same take on the election. It’s an opportunity, that’s it. We cannot get this wrong. The position the Left has gotten us to is precarious: poised at the edge of the cliff, needing just a nudge. We need to drag the country back from the precipice. It may not be possible; the rot of the nation’s soul may be too deep. But this is the last best hope.
The Left is a boa constrictor that’s been slithering ‘round the body politic for 100 years. This is a chance to cut off the head of the snake, but there is great danger involved. Bold action must be undertaken and it will be opposed violently at every step.
I’m trying to catch up on what’s been going on today, but it was not much of a reach to figure that the self-important Soros-funded community-organized snowflakes would react to Trump like Regan MacNeil to a Holy Water enema.
