It just goes to show that liberals don’t think more than one step ahead and should be careful what they wish for. If Trump was to get “removed by extra-constitutional means” they would just end up with Pence as President and Pence is socially far, far more conservative than Trump (more in the Ted Cruz evangelical vein). Trump could best be described as indifferent to mildly conservative on things like abortion and gay rights. (and that’s not necessarily a criticism, just a statement of fact.)

My first exposure to him was listening to movie sound tracks on satellite radio. There was a great song that begins with a little girl explaining “they fight because we meddle. We tell them what to think.” I thought, MAN, I have GOT to see that movie. Sounds very conservative in its politics. It was serenity, and one of my all time favorites. That is why this kind of surprises me.
Josh Whedon's advocacy of libertarian ideas in his movies and tv shows is a cognitive dissonance with his actual liberal positions. People have been discussing this dichotomy ever since "Firefly" came out.
