I decided to hit Abuse on myself. I was unfair in my post to the original poster.
Married twice btw :)
1. Don’t.
The End
Yes sir. I eventually became so depressed that I crawled into a bottle, any bottle. I also gained about 50+ lbs. I became #3 because of #1 and #2.
I’ve moved out, now, and after being diagnosed with depression, I am on anti-depressants (which is supposed to include weight gain, but I’ve lost 20-25, because I’m not so stressed with her actions/reactions. I still flinch when I get her text message alert, though.) I don’t drink anymore, either (and a LOT less).
When it got to the point that I was being criticized for doing actions she herself had done, and then we couldn’t agree on what exactly constituted “sliced sausage” (I meant, sliced in 3/8’s inch slices, she meant in the middle), I realized there was little to no hope.
:)
I’m only 6 years into my marriage and I felt like this was very good advice.
Thanks for your candor and honesty!

Who watches the janitors?
(I knew what you meant)
I met the real wife so quickly after the split. I had her name on my mind from prayer and I didn't pick up on it until later. She was angelic by comparison and I honestly thought she might be one for a few years but then I met her parents, so born on earth. Her parents were the same however and very kind and friendly. No sign of hostility or anything.
And now some 20 years later we have never had a fight. Only occasional disagreements and that we work through with reason that she facilitates through kindness and love. I Lose every one. So worth it - LMAO!!!😜
But yeah, time will show the truth to those who really want to see it.
I'm sorry you lost your church home too. That's a shame.
