Everytown...claiming that NRA lobbyists are pushing a bill in Congress that would allow dangerous people with concealed carry permits from states with the weakest possible standards to carry concealed, loaded weapons in all 50 states.Lying liar gun grabbers never give up, do they?

Milikowsky warned that the legislation would allow dangerous individualsincluding convicted criminals, domestic abusers, and stalkers to legally carry weapons in public. Yep, that's who my state issues permits to.

“Milikowsky warned that the legislation would allow dangerous individualsincluding convicted criminals, domestic abusers, and stalkers to legally carry weapons in public.”
That Milikowsky is outright lying through her teeth really isn’t too surprising anymore, but what continues to amaze me is how ignorant and gullible the people who believe the lies are.

When it came to gay marriage, these same people didn’t give a tinker’s damn about states’ rights, but suddenly they think states’ rights trump everything.

Except that none of these people could get a concealed carry permit and are prohibited from buying guns.

Of course, even if reciprocal carry becomes law, there will be jurisdictions that refuse to accept it. They will try to legally crush anyone unfortunate enough to have the “audacity” to want to exercise their rights.
It’ll be law, but in effect, it will be financially ruinous if you try to carry in places like NYC.

Probably not. The nature of concealed carry makes it very difficult to know who is carrying.
We’ve had several cases in VA in years past where folks who were carrying openly were arrested. Perfectly legal to OC in VA. The going settlement for a false arrest in VA is about $10K. So, the cities in question might not like the law, but they’ll be scratching checks for any bad arrests.
Oh and since this’ll be a Fed statute, the arrestee will likely be able to take it directly to Federal court.

THIS SHOULD BE A KEY PASS IN 100 DAY LEGISLATION. This and the wall and deporting EVERY illegal alien in the US. I want my 2nd amendment rights to be valid in California, just 5 miles from my house.
