The May Day workers who united this day seemed to come mostly from Latin countries. Signs in Spanish. Flags from their countries of birth (no American Flags) but, yes: Marxist flags. Socialist flags. They would run before they got to the battle field. I had this anti-war winnie in basic training back in 1970. He yacked all the time how he wasn’t going to shoot at anyone. He went to Vietnam with everyone else. I’m sure he either learned to shoot at the enemy or he is one of the 58,000 names on the wall.
