Columbia University’s “Knight Institute” is suing the Trump administration on behalf of seven individuals alleging the president “blocked” them from reading his Twitter feed.

The lawsuit, filed with the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, alleges that due to Mr. Trump’s usage of his personal Twitter account to engage with the public, his @realdonaldtrump Twitter account is a “public forum,” blocking citizens of access is “unconstitutional,” and his personal Twitter account should be treated as a public forum under federal law.

Yeah, I wonder who is behind the Knight Institute. Got a feeling it's Muslim organizations with big bankrolls and terrorist ties.

I thought blocking followers was a Twitter feature. Is it not?

They should be careful what they wish for.

They can still read it, can’t they?

I see what these children do in the replies. Pages and pages of juvenile slobberings before a single pro_trump reply

Where are the 4chan folks?

The source of the funds needs to be daylighted.
CNN readers may call that doxxing.
Susan Rich and her pals would call it unmasking.

Columbia’s newly founded institute is a “First Amendment” group, funded by the university, and is packing $60 million in influence. Its primary function thus far has been suing the president and his administration. Knight’s first lawsuit was filed in March of this year, and sued the Trump administration for failure to respond to a Freedom of Information Act request within the required 10-day window. Additional lawsuits against the Trump administration followed, including one demanding the White House release its visitor logs, and another demanding more transparency from the Department of Justice.

“his personal Twitter account should be treated as a public forum...”

These Knights must have advanced degrees in Orwellian.
By their “logic”, if you send an email in your PERSONAL account, you must cc everyone on the planet. Judge should award each of them 100 lashes and 90 days in a roach and rat infested hole. Other than their homes.

Children raised without healthy boundaries think it is a personal affront to tell them no, as well as refuse to respect THEIR boundaries.
This explains liberals behavior. If they don’t like the boundary, it is bad. If they set the boundary, you are bad for violating it, no matter how irrational it is.
And some of them intentionally continually change the boundaries because it is an exercise in control that makes them feel powerful, fun to watch you react and dance to it, or intentionally done to confuse you and scare you with uncertainty so you’ll settle for something less than the most extreme demand.

It is yes but these idiots are claiming Trump cannot block them because they are entitled to hear his official policy he puts out in various tweets.

LOL! He has his own twitter account (@realDonaldTrump) and a “@POTUS” version for those who “need access”. They just get pissed because they can’t deluge his main account with harassment...
