Friday night in Huntsville, Alabama, President Trump veered off from the political into sports and condemned the owners and athletes in the National Football League who either kneel or sit during the pre-game playing of our national anthem.
While denouncing the president, let's be honest here: going to the White House for most of these black players only became a big deal when they could be pictured with the half-black president. Protesting such an honor only became taboo because of President Obama's skin color, and as President Trump is hated by most in the media and police shootings have become such a social justice cause, attention-seekers take any opportunity to address both by screaming "Look at me!"

He fully knows and expects the spectacle they are going to be providing and I think Trump once again knows they are going to come out looking awful
Its already started - a couple players on our local NFL team have let their mouths run ahead of their brains.
Goodell is a fool for allowing the likes of Kaepernick and Sherman to use the NFL to run a low-level leftist guerrilla culture war.
The NFL is NOT going to come out of this better or stronger.
The owners can either fire them or let them destroy the sport.
NFL owners: Put your requirements into the players’ contracts. NO KNEELING, etc.

These football players who “Take a knee” and disrespect our flag and our country should see how it feels to not have limbs anymore..how many members of our brave military have had limbs blown off so these clowns can disrespect our country and our flag

I haven’t watched the NFL, NBA, MLB, etc. for years. A majority of the players that aren’t on steroids or performance enhancing drugs are cheaters. Instead of the winners of the divisions playing each other for the league championship they have the European wild card and playoff nonsense. The refs with outlandish calls and the players shaving points and throwing games makes watching professional sports a grim task.

I now refuse all social invitations from people who I know will certainly have sports on teevee throughout the gathering.
I am done with all “professional” (hah!) sports.
Tell them ... if you don’t respect this country don’t play this game . I’ll bet there will still be plenty of blacks wanting to play the game hand over heart for the big bucks .
Want to make the BLM people REALLY crazy?
Ask all the NFL Players to kneel during the National Anthem and pray for peace and the safety of the USA.
